I think because he told her about his love for Mannat and then all the fake wedding drama they planned. He was thinking that she is helping him to get his love. Like he said to her I always told truth to you, I never lied to you . He thought of her as his true friend .

He trusted her to tell about his feelings for Mannat because she was Mannat's best friend as well as his.

TBH I really felt bad for Vikrant yaar💔😭.

As such he is right because Malla knew from the beginning that he loves Mannat and never wanted to marry her.

The problem is Malla seems to have lost all rational thought if she ever had any which ARS is ignoring or is not realising. She is now twisting facts to suit her own narrative. Justifies the reason for hurting those kids whereas ARS owns her actions and makes calculative attacks. Admits she is cruel like that.

Malla can even destroy herself in trying to get rid of Mannat. Created a lot of problems in her own engagement. In electrocuting Neetu she still said it was all because of Mannat. If she hadn't kept Vikrant with her then it would not have gotten to that. I wouldn't be surprised if she will try to hurt even ARS if she appears to get in her way.
