Abhi made some descisions, which obviously were independent of Akshu's lack of sense. Still they minutely did contribute. Rather than seeing her own mistakes & faulty descisions, Akshu held onto Abhi's descisions. At least Akshu had a leg to stand on or should I say, events she could use as excuse.

Armaan doesn't even have that. I do think this doesn't make Armaan any better. Had he gotten opportunity, he would have blamed Abhira too then accepting.
