Well that's just sad. It looked so nice to see Shreya interacting with officers beside Abhijeet. Normally we just have one or two references to it, like ACP having played with her since her childhood and all.

Does anyone think Tarika or Shreya will be brought back permanently into the show? I thought Tarika was coming back after watching those couple of episodes but she's been gayab again. Tbh, I wasn't very keen on her return because her presence always ruins Abhijeet's character (which has always been my favourite character). I'm really enjoying how the new season is portraying the characters. This is what I always imagined it should be like when I was pulling my hair out watching the later episodes of season 1. You know...with the shouting ACP, crying helpless Abhijeet, and macho serious saviour Daya. Current season is so different. It's like the classic era characters, only they've grown older, and I'm loving it.

Shreya seems to be well over her CID days too, and she's shown to be way ahead of her old colleagues. I don't even know who she's working for anymore. She was in CID, then joined IB. Then labelled gaddar, so obviously lost her job. But now she's following someone's orders and Daya into it. I'm assuming this guy is an government official since both Daya and Shreya call him sir. So, was labelling her a traitor always the plan? So that she could continue to work undercover?

Pankaj proved in sunday episode that he is not only for humor element but can be one of the biggest asset for this team

I liked him in the last episode.

Some comic relief is fine, but I don't like it when the show turns anyone (Pankaj, Freddy, etc) into complete clowns

I've never felt that Abhijeet's character got ruined due to the flirting. The very first episode of CID i watched was ep 586 where Shreya was introduced (Abhijeet's adoptive child in current episodes). I loved every shade of his character shown in the ep ; his compassion towards Shreya , his seriousness towards the case and his detection skills and his comic scenes in the forensic lab......IMO those flirting scenes never downgraded his character but defined the layers of his character. Then i watched from ep 1 and noticed towards 200's and 400's he was needlessly harsh towards his coworkers and I didn't like that.....I feel like he mellowed down after a while and realised thst he can be happy in his life after gping through all that crap in his past. The layers of his character made him stand out and he felt like a realistic character instead of a crime solving robot. (Every character from eps 1-400 were pretty realistic tho)

I don't fancy them turning these beloved characters (Dr Salunkhe, shreya, daya) into traitors and unintelligent clowns.
