He is victim for sure, but he is not helpless like Shalini. Even if he believes what Malla said, he thought she was Mannat but Malla was not drunk and she knew Vikrant was not in his senses, it is still assault. A sauve businessman and a man who has travelled the world should know the difference between consent and assault.Even after he sees Malla gloating and glowing in front of him after marriage, he does not question anything. I feel no sympathy for him anymore.

His family will feed him certain ideas and he will abide by their values. Vikrant has been a victim of circumstances raised to believe that you trust your family under all circumstances .

Mannat was a victim too born as a bin maangi Mannat yet Shruti made her life mission to shower love on Mannat without attaching any strings to operate through her and have her way. She has raised Mannat to stand up for what is right even if the world is against her. This is the stark difference between Mannat and Vikrant and knowing her true mom has made Mannat stronger to fight back whereas Vikrant weakened by the lied and drugs already will be shattered when he learns his true identity of Aman.

Vikrant has been making foolish judgements trusting the wrong people yet he is not an evil soul. His family and friends are his weakness .

What's your take on him still drinking that juice from Neetu even when he has seen that something may be wrong with it or has he not realised? I could not quite decipher that discussion he had with Neetu about the juice.

Absolutely he is not helpless like Shalini, but he has had a emotionally abused childhood from what we are seeing so far. Sometimes abuse can shut off your thought process or you are forced to shut off.

We have seen Ronnie, Neetu emotional blackmail so many times including this track and Bobby track. It's been drilled into him that his parents what his parents say is right, he has to follow even if he has concerns. If you notice how like Mannat switches between Happy, sad phase instantly, Vikrant switches between thinking to shutting off his brain. Unless he sees the reality of his parents sadly this is going to continue even if Malla's truth comes out.

In no way am I justifying his distrust in Mannat, but again this too is drilled into his head. Folks in his family and close to his family are trust worthy rest are not to be trusted.

Not sure if I am a good writer like many other folks on the forum but I feel both Mannat and Vikrant are same same yet different.

I completely agree with your analysis. Mannat and Vikrant both are victims of their circumstances.

Everyone one of us are brought up with the influence of our parents beliefs. Some we might not have understood or believed in when we are growing up but still followed them. But as we grow up, we experience things, meet people, we begin to form our own beliefs, some which might no longer be aligned to our parents anymore. We might clash with our parents as well but does not mean we love them less.

Mannat was brought up with lot of love but was guarded from all the life's harsh realities. Once sruthi was in a coma, she had to grow up so fast and find her footing and fight for her mother's life all on her own.

But this growth is not there in Vikrant. What I believe is, when as people we do not grow and broaden our perspectives, our life is worthless.

There were two (well 3 incl Nilgun) incidents of Cennet being kidnapped in OG, but the one involving Selam and the fire was horrific. Looks like Vikrant has ropes around his wrists too.
The way Malla was getting more and more unhinged last week and seeing bts of of upcoming episodes of Mannat finding out all her kaands, the farmhouse incident and finding out about ARS being Mannat mother, its not surprising Malla is going to get more desperate and evil in her plot making. We are in for a killanalla week ahead 😡🤬 poor Mannat.

Let’s hope it moves us closer to Vikrant finding out his own birth truth too and Malla exposé.

This one I feel is Selim wala as Adnan has ropes and all tied around his hand the same way Selim's hands were tied & Malla wanted to kill Mannat & die alongside.

I completely agree with what your wrote about his abusive childhood. But like I just wrote in my other post, where is his own growth? Where is his perspective of right and wrong from his own experiences. His parents truth has come out in front of him in so many instances. In Bobby track, his mother in recent video reveal and his parents blackmailing him to take their own lives at the drop of a hat which in itself is a crime. Even after all of this happening infront of him, he still cannot recognize anything. We are byproducts of our upbringing true, but also our own experiences. I personally cannot judge Vikrant's actions by his childhood only anymore because his experiences are teaching him something else but he refuses to learn. His parents are definitely to be blamed but he is also equally to be blamed in my opinion.

In OG, Malla kidnaps Mannat & tells her that if Vikrant can't be mine then he can't be yours too. Its better we both die.

She brings in kerosene & pours over all the small wooden house. I think she had hit Mannat too, unable to remember now & she became unconscious.

Vikrant got to know of it & reached there but Malla tied his hands..

....This is how it was in OG.. may be few things I might have missed adding ...
