Are they copying Mangal Lakshmi storyline? It's very similar, the only noticeable difference is that Mangal isn’t having wet dreams about her ex-husband , but she is also hasn’t fully moved on. She's deeply conflicted about cutting ties with her former in-laws. And her ex-husband crashes her engagement and creates a whole dramatic scene out of jealousy. Mangal herself is hesitant about marrying acha adami who actually values her. The parallels are too obvious to ignore.
