she won’t melt. Do you see the hurt in her eyes (fabulous acting) she truly believes he betrayed her and played her for a fool. Vikku boi can act as righteously indignant as he wants to but he was playing a very dangerous game and has to reap the consequences of his foolishness. Because he cannot recognize people for who they truly are he’s paying the ultimate price. Another fabulous, to my mind, a powerful episode!! And wow by Ayesha... the way she collapsed and started weeping to Shruti, I jumped in my seat.
Ayesha was amazing and Mannat was fabulous
. She hasn't forgotten anything, any insult and she had to put up with it because she was at a lower social standing. That is it. Period. Like Shalini had to lump her pain and grief because she was moneyless and powerless. I am bracketing them together because the theme of every track is common, that money translates to power..money over goodness, money over morals, money over evil. The start of the show indicated that...Sonia abandoning her daughter to secure her future.
And Adnan as Vikrant. Actually his journey, and hopefully his character growth begins now. Such a pity to see him surrounded by snakes, and double crossers, and in 'apparent' his comfort zone, he mistrusts the one person who loves him.
Anyway, I called it yesterday, no need to panic
. Vikrant can never be sidelined or forgotten. His journey began on the same night Mannat was born...his story is yet to come.
Today was completely Ayesha's show....and she grabbed her scene with all her might. (As her previous show ends its long run, I am reminded of her previous character, I am very emotional about it, and am so proud of being part of this acting journey with her)
Mona was also fabulous. Adnan was amazing. Mamta was good. They are all so good ...I wish they manage to turn this around and run the show successfully.
