And rishta, anupama are the top shows on Starplus..so the channel and ph will want to keep them going for as long as they get trps ..new shows don’t seem to be taking off with viewers..UKA is doing well because it’s a regular normal household with every day issues . .many Hollywood successful tv shows were similar to Uka ..that were just every day issues with regular people..and those shows ran for like 9 or 10 seasons. Maybe itv audience is also changing and they don’t want to see too much ott drama ..but rather every day stuff that’s relatable to every day life..is liked by them.

UKA is also doing well because Kanwar dhillon is a known Starplus face and his character Sachin initially was very similar to Shiva Pandya

Pandya Store always did well it had 2 time slots one at 7.30 and one at 11 both got great TRPs ..

So the show got accepted quickly in a good slot of 9 pm .. later on other other characters got accepted too ., as the show is funny .. now that every character is accepted they are making variations

That’s why a channel should stick to their accepted faces in new shows

They should have given actors like Ayesha Singh , Neil bhatt ,

sudhanshu pandey , ashish Mehrotra and muskan bamne new shows .. rather than cutting cost and bringing random actors
