I cant connect with this at all. Kaveri is shown to respect Abhira for the way she showed up for them and I liked how she accepted that despite being indifferent to her, she stood with them and all. In all this time, from what I remember, dadi has never done anything criminal towards her even the times when she didnt like her, while Arman, Vidya, Ruhi have treated her cruelly many times.

Hiding this big truth does not connect with me. If it was a toxic husband, sibling, parent, it would still be justifiable. but a mother has a right to know about her child. Kaveri is not doing right by Abhira.

Wish it was Vidya who hid the truth and when it came out, Abhira and Kaveri team up and get the kid legally. Audience would love to watch that. They have the guts, and skills and add Anshuman to the mix who is also a lawyer.
