I think it's hard to compare Mannat fighting for Shalini vs Mannat fighting for Vikrant. And in my opinion, it has a lot to do with the power dynamics and social status of the two. In Shalini's case, Mannat went the extra mile for her, because in some ways she had also experienced an almost assault when she moved into the shady crawl after being thrown out of her burnt home. Also, ARS used her position as Shalini's boss, kidnapped her brother, threatened to release clips of the assault to get Shalini to do her bidding practically rendering her helpless needing Mannat to fully go all in for her instead.

In Vikrant's case, he is fully capable of fighting for himself with equal footing and power. So, there is only a certain extent Mannat can fight for him. If he doesn't trust her or put in the effort to actually fight for himself or try to find out what is going on around him when there's ample evidence that something is amiss, there really isn't much Mannat can do. It is not like Vikrant did not know about the fake engagement, he agreed to it ... he participated in all the functions that were taking place.

That being said, I do think they could have done a better job with showing Mannat realizing her feelings towards Vikrant and how it affects her.

Same way her love for vikranth should be the triggering point irrespective of social status and all.... Specially when mannath clearly know ars, malla and neetu are manipulating her .... And Vikranth is not aware of that ..... I am sad because she didn't even tried .... She gave importance to ars promise and ready leave the place than vikranth life...

See I am same person who bashed vikranth for not stopping neetu from badmouting mannath.... So here mannath deserves the bash ....alittle bit... She does .. her not caring is coming out like she don't love him....

Sorry but whatever the reason, at the end even she is using him, isn't she?

It didn't look like Mannat was bluffing on the seashore... and why would she who knows Vik wont believe her without proof or ARS who manipulates the truth... not have a recording????

There are some glaring loopholes now!!!!! Few of the BTS and articles have not made it to the episode at all...

Is it possible ViMal was not meant to happen... and there would be a last minute stop from Mannat Ekta style???? But then they changed tracks at the last minute???

If the article is true (about this being a secret plan) which I dont think is possible myself... these little discrepancies would come out then I suppose 🙄

The writers have created a huge mess i don't know how they will come out of it. It's like Mannat now has selective amnesia and doesn't remember about Vikrant. Even when she got back into Saluja Mansion to prepare for his wedding she mentioned how he is still helping her without realising it so to leave without at least helping him seems wrong. I'm just hoping they will show a flashback of Mannat and Shruti discussing the game plan of not running away and we can see her intent to help Vikrant.

The trap Malla set though no one could have saved Vikrant from it.

Now both the leads seem compromised. Don't know if it makes sense whichever way you look at it making a decision to leave Vikrant in the name of sacrifice when you can clearly see he is in trouble. Maybe momentary weakness.

Point of the track was Vikrant Malla Shadi and Mannat gets half Mezbaani. Ab woh kab kaise kya is a moot point.

Caring & loving a person (romantically) are 2 different things.

Just bcz I care for a person doesnt mean I am romantically involved with that person.

Mannat over the time has developed soft corner for Vikrant, a person who has always been by her side even after all the kalesh they had.

She does care for him. Agar care nai karti toh Neetu se lad nai jaati at SM even after getting CAed God knows how many no. of times. Went all out to save him after getting deliberately hit by ARS's car.

The biggest issue has been that since the time she stepped into Mezbaani she has been embroiled in circumstances which has been beyond her control. Usko kabhi time hi nai mila ki 2-4 minutes sukoon se baith ke Vikrant ke baarein mei soche.

And when she actually started getting triggered by his constant closeness, the fake engagement things came up.

Ab feelings uska develop hua bhi & may be..may be she might have for fraction of seconds decided to say yes to him but yeh sab fake dekh ke toh woh aur bhi hurt ho gyi na.

Uske baad se ek ke baad ek problem, kaahan usko kabhi time mila hai.

Even after that she tried to save him. Got gaalis from Neetu. She pushed her on the floor. Still as a last ditch Was able to change the medicines. Her main mission to be back to SM was exposing ARS but at the she was also ready to expose Neetu. Thats y whenever she used to get chance, she used to keep close track on Neetu too.

But aur kitna try karti. And when the doc calls up says ur mom is gonna die what else she is gonna do, is she still expected to run after him ?? Or go & save her mom first ? Vik also prioritized his mom first na when mango sweet dish wala incident happened.

Agreed though that the last hospital scene the dialogue could havee been changed as 'unka dil tod dia' is not making sense properly but may be she was trying to say in the context that Vik has always being by her side no matter what but bcz of ARS condition she had to hurt him which she never wanted too...

And Mannat ko thodi na malum tha that ARS is gonna keep such a vile condition or Vik will get into ONS mess.

Dono mei se kisiko nai pta tha ki unke saath itni saazishein hongi...

Vikku's character has been made to look stupid at this point but he doesn't deserve the mess he got into as well.

I am just saying that Mannat has been the victim of the circumstances (as much as Vik) since the very beginning. Vik ka toh chalo ab jaake actual mei shuru hua hai.

Its not easy for a girl alone to fight against so many monsters when you are not privileged enough....

The problem is that initially they showed. Vikrant to be logically reasoning everyone but over the period of time, his character has been compromised.

He stopped questioning things. Pta nai who is writing it but main problem uska hai.

There is not a single scene where he thinks sukoon se that why all these is happening.

Mannat ke paas toh Khair reason tha as she gets embroiled in somethings or the other but in case of Vik they never allowed him to think only..
