just watched the episode and felt it did justice to the momentous situation that Mannat is finally at.

Both Ayesha and Mona in particular played out their roles superbly, loved the powerful heartfelt replies Mannat gave to her birth mother of not wanting her love nor hate, she frees her from any relationship…… some great writing in todays scenes. And the direction was good, cliched but reinforcement of continually showing matarani and panning to Mannat in her desperation to do the ultimate good, save her Shruti maa. The scene of Mannat kissing her at the hospital bedside when the doc told her the donor liver was a match and would save her mother was a real tear jerker of joy 🤗 And the cold complete indifference from ARS to saving her sister’s life.

But as per character ARS didn’t concede to Mannat’s demand, she dug the knife and turned it…… to tell Mannat that Vikrant was crazily in love with Mannat but Mannat would have to tell him that she never had any feelings for him and only wanted for a share in his wealth, to fall from his grace completely. So cruel! Aishwariya’s, to save a life, you have to give a life was 🔪🔪
But 4 positives from what ARS told Mannat
i) Vikrant madly loves Mannat
ii) the shaadi was a hoax , all for Mannat;s benefit
iii) Malla also knows he loves only Mannat, and of the pretence of the rasams.
iv) Mannat come closer to realising her own feelings for Vikrant……..

Vikrant was in despair that Mannat wasn’t replying to his umpteen calls and 3 voice messages. Adnan portrayed so well the crushing desperation of Vikku trying to get through to Mannat to convince her to just come and see him to talk things through, weighing him down with each unanswered call, and fbs of their happy times and adding another shot of alcohol. Seeing him looking at the entrance willing Mannat to arrive was heart-breaking. I felt very sorry for him.

I’m glad they showed Mannat seeing the 14 missed calls and although had a fb of his ‘leave’ she wasn’t angry or annoyed that Vikku was ‘pestering’ her while she was facing one of her biggest challenges in saving her Shruti maa.

not looking forward to seeing Vikrant devastated tomorrow but am looking forward to watching Adnan and Ayesha in their heartache ; I had tears watching the bts and Addy of-screen consoling Ayeshu.

Let’s see after Mannat processes the 4 above, how and when she draws on them.

But I don’t see Vikku however drunk, disheveled or distraught (or even forcibly tied up) from his hangover/heartbreak/ONS night before!

And as the saying goes “it ain't over till the fat lady sings” so I’m still rooting for something to go wrong and the MalVik shaadi not going ahead the next day.
