Katrina Kaif was delighted with her stay in Egypt during the last shooting schedule of Anees Bazmee directed Singh is Kinng. She loved the pyramids and culture of Egypt.
Anees reveals, "She liked every part of the location as it's among the most beautiful countries she has visited - the pyramids, the temples and the landscape. She was fascinated by the exotic locations and during dinner she also enjoyed the barbecue on a boat on the Nile. We shot in a number of places and in one sequence both Akshay and Katrina had climbed the pyramids. Before climbing it she was very scared but later on when she reached there she was one who enjoying the most."
About the song they shot, he adds, "We used to start the shooting around 4 am to capture the light and it was scorching. And so to keep ourselves cool we would stay in shades and sip fruit juice or mint tea. Katrina used to love the morning light though it was very hot. The song is called Jee Karda choreographed by Bosco-Ceaser and will be on air next month."
The director also reveals that Akshay Kumar shot with his pagdi throughout the film. "Yes he will be seen with the pagdi throughout. He enjoyed wearing it as he really wanted to don a sardar look in a film."
Singh is Kinng's last shooting schedule included one song and few scenes. The song was shot in two cities - Luxer and Cairo.
This is Katrina's fourth film with Akshay and will be releasing on August 8.
