In that case wouldn't Mannat deduce that the proposal thing and all that wedding jingles followed from Vikrant’s part was fake? An attempt of Vikrant to make her confess?

I wonder if Mannat be able to join the dots, recognise Malla's changed demeanor and see through the drama she pulled of quoting insecurity.

From his perspective Malla need not have let him go ahead with the kaand... she trapped him because he was ready to cancel the wedding which has not served its purpose....
