Anupamaa and RG are pathetic and terrible.

When the show started, RG was acting natural and real and people actually felt for the woman we now see as Panauti. The story of the show has been dragged and Anupamaa started to come off as unreal and crazy. The actor has to say the lines in same accent, be a terrible dancer, has the same unhygienic habits and her voice for help has become a voice of shrieking crazy banshee. She has become so pathetic that her abusers have actually become tolerable and likeable. The writers never tried to truly experiment with the character. They changed Sirat's accent to more normal version but made Maa's accent worse. She is supposed to be a fantastic chef but none of her recipes seem to be appealing. She always steps in a new field and instead of being a human about it and learn it from scratch, she is convinced that she is meant to be on the top. Somehow she uses her emotional tactics to rise and then she ditches these fields like they never existed. Writers never gave the character a make over. All moms don't wear suti saree. Many moms wear simple salwar kameez and western outfits and indo western sarees and a variety of outfits. There are even simple women of Baa' age who are educated, modern and classy, unlike the older women shown in the show. My both grandmas are like that. They are not elites like Kotharis or poor like Asha Bhavan denizens but they are classy and graceful. People respect them for their experience. They are women who spend decades trying tooth and nail focussed on a singular objective and they have to learn and achieve. Upma never learns. She has created an image of herself as an abla bechaari maa and uses it as a weapon to rise in the top. RG isn't the only actress stuck in some backward regressive role for 5 years. Sriti Jha and Rupal Patel's characters Pragya and Kokila had so many regressive elements but they acted for 7+ years and gave their heart and soul to their performances. RG gives pathetic expressions and has zero percent relatability factor. There is no variation in her character. She never tried to change her look or accent at least. To truly become independent, she had to upgrade herself a bit but she refuses because her bhakts have convinced her she is best in everything. Anupamaa could have been a short term netflix series and we might have seen some character development but soaps don't work that way. I wish a better actress like Sriti and Rupal gets the role.

Rupal Patel - the legend!

All of us were empathizing with Anupama when RD had exposed the EMA of #VanYa. Devika was almost about to be slapped by Anupama when she suspected an EMA between #VanYa. In the end Devika's suspicion turned out to be true. Even after divorcing Vanraj, she felt that she was mentally related to him thanks to that stupid dialogue "Ek kagaz ke tukde se rishta nahi toottha". No woman lives with her ex husband and his current wife under the same roof in reality. Even worse was the fact that she had cooked for her abusers in the "Phatichar Leela Kephe" and also "Anupama Dance Academy" and "Phatichar Leela Kephe" were close to each other.

In 1 of the episodes of this show Kanta Ben (Anupama's biological mother) wanted to take Anupama away to her home. But Anupama, without any self respect preferred to stay with her abusive ex - MIL and serve her.

Anuj had entered as a ray of hope in Anupama's life (Atleast I felt like that). People rarely get a 2nd chance in their life. Anupama had that chance when she got married to Anuj. But she had become female version of Vanraj to Anuj (Cheating him emotionally). I strongly feel that Anuj and Anupama should not have got married.

The less it is said about her professional life the better. Anuj ignored Kavya's MBA degree and years of experience and appointed Anupama as a project head without taking her educational qualification into consideration. She was offered a business contract worth crores when she pitched the idea of recruiting house wives for cooking in restaurant. That ambitious project was dumped in the dustbin just like how she had dumped Anuj and Aadhya (On the day of car accident).

Anupama with Anuj : Hamare rishta ka expiry date aa gaya hain.

I do not empathize with Anupama any more. People who claim to be the epitome of perfection can never change in their life. The only empowered woman in this show is Rakhi Dave (Who is my favourite character in this show). In reality neither Anuj nor Aadhya had existed for Anupama.

Anupama never accepts that she makes mistakes. What is maddening is the fact that she had got multiple opportunities in her professional life but has squandered all of them.

Anupama is a narcissist covert narcissist and a sociopath

She acts like a victim and destroys others life

This is an act to make others get attracted to her and help her in need

A narcissist acts nice to trap people to trust him, once thats done

Once their help is over she discards them

Her only true love was shahs her 3 kids vanraj and vanraj parents because shes lived with them from age of 18

None others ever mattered to her ever

Anupama also has the grandiose narcissist trait too all should praise her as best person always or she gets offended

a grandoise narcissit loves hearing his parise from others - mostly they have yes man around them, politicians, business man, film stars, tv actors etc are like that they cannot hear any negative about themselves and get offended if someone gives honest opinion on them- a major reason why bollywood is in shambles now and so is ITV serials in last 10 years is because most are grandoise narcissits in the film and Tv industry they dislike reality

Also such ppl never change full life- if they are in dire strait they may act for sometime but thats only acting not their real self (this is as per psychology, ppl can read on whats all these terms)
