Abhishek: Gloriously… I think we all worked really hard on it. And I'm really glad with all the feedback we have been getting. I… we are really happy.


Ash: I just think I've been really lucky to get a chance to play so many different characters. To go through so many emotions. Ramu was just great. And working with pa and Abhishek was just brilliant.


You guys are often criticized in the media. Does it hurt?


Ash: Of course! I think we creative people are very sensitive. And the constant need to look at us so minutely… I mean we are human beings at the end of the day like any one else. And so yes it does hurt. for example I think the media has just been mean to Ramu.. sure he made a film last time. He made a film… it was an ambitious project and now it's done. So get over it… but no they keep going on and on and on.


Abhishek: I will disagree here… I don't think its just creative people. It's just that we are human. And if you are going to keep going at us for no reason whatsoever. It's not fair. Like one journalist who has a particular affinity to me recently wrote he's become a fat slob! Did anyone ask why or how? I intentionally put on 12 kilos for Guru. Similarly I did it for this role as well. It wasn't that it just happened. So there's never any need to find out why or what had happened. They just write away and that I think is unfair.

Ok let's get away from this and talk about you two. Ash you are positively glowing…


(Laughs) I think that's really sweet. I guess I am just in a very happy place right now. But thank you to all my fans and well wishers for all their love and support as well.


I want to know what's the best gift that you guys have given each other. And don't say love!


Ash: Well I will say the togetherness I have with Abhishek. That's the best gift ever!


Abhishek: I'm thinking hard for this one… (ponders for a minute) ..yes.. I am a huge fan of Nelly and when we were dating his song Dilemma had released which I loved. So she got me a mic … Nelly's mic specially signed by him and gifted it to me on Valentine's Day. It was a really special gesture.


The one quality you love about each other


Ash: I love the way Abhishek has dealt being constantly compared to his father. Something that should have supposedly worked in his favour was used against him but he still remained so cool and dignified. And I think that's admirable.


Abhishek: I have too many to count. I love the way she orders me and says ek cup chai…


Ash: Stop! I don't …


Abhishek: … and how she stands for hours before the mirror!


Ash: stop it honey… we all know who stands in front of the mirror and for how long!!


Before you go please tell us any plans for babies?


Ash: I'll let you answer that one.. (pointing to Abhishek)


Abhishek: I don't think we are the type who want to plan this. It will happen when it does… when God wants it. But as of now, neither one of us is pregnant!
