Parineetii's 20-Year Leap: A New Chapter or Just Prolonged Cruelty?

1. Darkness for Drama’s Sake

The show has clearly doubled down on shock value — not just by killing off both Parineet and Sanju, but also by making Neeti so irreversibly vile that she celebrates the death of a child and takes pride in psychologically and physically destroying Sanju. That’s not grey — it’s black. And not even layered. Just outright psychopathy.

2. The Leap Feels Emotionally Bankrupt

The 20-year leap might give the writers narrative space, but emotionally, it lands hollow. Sanju surviving only to become a "living corpse" under Neeti’s control feels like punishment for viewers more than a progression of story. There’s no justice, no closure — just extended cruelty.

3. Neeti’s Arc Is Now a Dead End

There’s no coming back for Neeti now — not narratively, not morally, not emotionally. If she’s still the focus going forward, the makers risk alienating any remaining empathy or engagement. Even her manic laugh at the end leans into caricature rather than complexity. This is no longer an antagonist — it’s a villain cartoon with no restraint.

4. What’s the Payoff for Longtime Viewers?

If Sanju and Parineet’s journey — after everything — ends like this, the question is: why did we watch all these years? What message are we left with? That evil wins, love dies, and revenge is eternal?

If the idea was to reset the show with a new generation, they’ve done it in the bleakest way possible — with little emotional payoff for long-time investment.

red- punishment? Lol! It's a pleasure for viewers like me who were waiting for this "musibat ki jad" raju to suffer since 3 years. He is the one who created all this mess. What did he think that he will live happily ever after by ruining neeti's life? No. Neeti ruined his life in return. I couldn't bear to see this raju happy. I'm glad that he is not happy

blue- u wrote "evil wins" according to u, neeti is evil n pariraju are good right? for me, pariraju are not good at all. They turned a good girl into evil girl n they showed no regret for this. So for me it's like evil win over evil 😂

As a viewer and a long one, I have been waiting for Neeti's punishment and her hypocrite accusations be pointed out loud and clear. Pari should've never died, but rather Neeti dying and go from there.

@Bold absolutely!

It was Pari Raju who kept on gaslighting Neetii and kept on lying through their teeths and then openly and secretly kept on romancing eachother and when Neetii confronted they would behave all innocent and told off Neetii that she was the bad one who has "giri hui soch".

In this story PariRaju are the most neech people on the face of the earth. They have stopped so low that they have reached Hell. Pari to gayi ab Raju ki baari.

Ghanta farak padta hai inke ghariyal aansu se! They deserved every bit of it.

Bada mazza araha tha PariRaju ko Neetii ko gaslight karne main aur romance karne main openly and secretly. Ab suffer kare openly and secretly!
