You: Season 5's episode 6 is very interesting! I have come to know Bronte's perspective about Joe. She went to New York to take revenge for Beck's death, but eventually fell in love with Joe. It shows Joe knows how to make women fall in love with him. He makes women feel special and treats them nicely. So, even though Louise/Bronte knows he's the murderer of Beck, she just can't think straight. Kate keeps telling the truth in episode 6. I really liked what Kate told Joe about his son, Henry. "To you, he's an extension of yourself...you already abandoned him once. To chase a woman that you thought you loved across the ocean. To run from all the people that you killed. And now you've fallen for a new woman. And you've killed more people. Are you actually trying to tell me that you won't find a reason to abandon him again?"
“I am no bird; and no net ensnares me; I am a free human being, with an independent will; which I now exert to leave you.” Interestingly, Beck wrote this quote from Charlotte Bronte's book, Jane Eyre, in a book she gave to Louise, and I think it inspired Louise to use the fake name, Bronte. Louise/Bronte is also really smart to figure out that some parts of Beck's book were written by someone else because Beck wouldn't use the references of Henrik Ibsen's A Doll's House in her book. For me, the most interesting twist is that Clayton was the son of Beck's psychologist, whom Joe framed for Beck's murder, and Clayton wanted to take revenge on Joe. That's a cool twist!
