That pyar ki gully wali fight was something else, a complete gem that you can watch on repeat. I think they have tried to replicate it here with Mannat again pulling at his collar but they could not re-create the fine nuances, her shouting, crying and pleading that went straight to his heart at that time, instigating him to investigate his uncle's motives. I think that is because it was a different director at that time who created that masterpiece.

Hopefully yesterday's scene was just a miss on the new directors part since it's outdoor shoots and they are difficult. For me even the episode was not up to the mark 😞

Sunita finally dies and reveals the truth about ARS to Mannat. The last 'hai' is missing from 'ARS tumhari Maa hai'.... Anyway now Mannat is aware ARS also started the fire at chawl.

Vik arrives, manages the situation with Sammy ... and tries to pull Mannat out of her shock.

It was a deliberate attempt at making some point I feel.

They modeled Vikrant on Ronnie's words... when 2 people fight one should be mature and stay calm.

The roadside scene looks like it was reshot. A significant portion is green screen.

Vikrant was very calm and Mannat was upset. In live and green screen... his change in demeanour is visible. Nicely done... it was made to look like he understood what kind of trauma she was in and stayed calm.

BTS looked passionate... episode looks calm in comparison but sensible. So some bits are cut out (the passionate pull and hands on her face)

Mannat is shaken.. she cries in his hug that she tried to save Sunita but couldnt. So Vikrant tries to calm her and says if you had not left in hurry ye sab nahi hota... but you dont listen (bad timing Vikku 🤦‍♀️)... Mannat who is already massively pissed gets angrier by minute. She gets out of the hug and questions him on what he is trying to prove. He apologizes but Mannat is far too disturbed. She says I left your house because there's lies in the name of love.. and you are not ready to see.. Vik says aisa nahi hai... why did I come here... I always come to support you.. even if you say whatever for my family... main jhookunga tumhare saamne.. 😍😍😍

Mannat questions your support comes with condition... you help me when no one is there.. why didn't you support when your family was accusing me... questioning my parvarish... I wanted your support then.. needed my BKB... 😢

Beautifully done by Ayesha... the pleading yet questioning tone and expressions are so so good... she looks like a wife who knows her haq and wants it reciprocated ♥️♥️♥️♥️

Vikrant is silent... Mannat then tells him that trust doesn't require anything... trust shouldnt be relying on proofs.. and for you my words dont matter unless there's proof... so now I won't seek your support too... I will stay by my truth...

She moves and turns around and Vikrant again declares his support...

They walk away from each other against KANK.

Mannat reaches SM and threatens ARS. ARSs shocked reactions are so good ... well done by Mona... Neetu and Malla join her... same as BTS... Malla threatens to call police.

This is a dream situation.. Mannat is in chawl gully and imagining this and realizes she can't do anything without proof. Police won't believe her either.

She bumps into Dolly who is still upset. Asks about if she recalls who was the woman who lit the fire. Dolly recalls ARS ka gaonwala look... but doesnt share anything. Blames Mannat... apparently lot of people including Pintu uncle have left. Dolly questions if that woman had issues with you why did she harm everyone else.

Mannat is understanding and remarks to herself that she will collect proofs and expose ARS. Recalls all that happened with her and ARSs signature on them.

ARS gets a call from Ravinder who tells her Sunita is dead but Mannat is alive.

Neetu comes in and ARS asks her if she talked to Vik.. Neetu wonders itni jaldi... ARS tells her Vik went after Mannat... if she comes back.. this plan won't work... we need to act fast and if Ronnie or Vik get to know that I knew all along... they will throw my family out. Isse acchha hai main hi Ronnie ko jaake batati hun. 🙄... Neetu obviously doesnt catch this blackmail.

Neetu vows to herself ki main Mannat ko jeetne nahi dungi.

Loved ManVik and especially Vikrant... I dont know about you guys but I am glad they toned him down... from whatever we saw in BTs. The overall effect is nicer. ♥️

Haven’t joined the weekend discussions partly as I was away from home, but also like Ronnie’s advice, maybe subconsciously I needed stay quiet and absorb the conflicting emotions 😂

Thank you for your in depth update which made me rewatch the roadside accident scene a couple of time to take in everything you pointed out and your thoughts 🫶🏼 you’re right, the eventual confrontation was indeed much toned down to the bts, I wouldn’t have noticed some parts were via green screen reshoots, so glad you pointed that out and your reasoning was on point. Vikrant was there to support Mannat in the immediate aftermath of Sunita passing away and not to continue their earlier arguments but his ill thought remark snapped Mannat back out. This confrontation is within a different situation than the Bobby track so didn’t feel it falling short. Here the victim isn’t a third party they were both fighting for, but Vikrant himself so whilst both wanted each other trust the other, I felt Vikrant needs to actually realise he is the victim. However unfortunately for Mannat she also other problems to resolve, which are taking priority but Vikrant is too blinkered to see that.

At first I was confused at Mannat’s stupidity in confronting ARS straight away but thankfully realised it was a dream sequence. Coolmeg’s analysis on Malla’s presence in the dream makes perfect sense, Mannat hasn’t placed Malla with ARS & Neetu as villain, but she’s clear that Malla is not going to support her against her mother, nor Neetu (I feel with or without proof, nor is Malla going to help her gather any evidence).

Vikrant needs a shock at this point to realize what's happening around him like Bobby track where he saw 1st hand what Bobby was.

More so now because Neetu is his mom and he is not thinking about anything other than love. It's like , everything else comes later , 1st he wants them both to confess in his own weird twisted way and then he will handle the rest . I don't even think, he realizes what he is getting himself into by trusting Malla blindly.

Sunita dies giving incomplete information about ARS, but she did say that ARS caused the chawl fire. Vikrant reaches there, with good intentions, to support Mannat.

But honestly, his mind was still on the fact that Mannat decided to leave home. I found him a bit distracted not in a bad way. I found his line about leaving his family to come to her, kind of sad, after such a big issue had happened at home with Manant.

And he did heed Ronnie's advice to keep calm when Mannat was obviously in distress. Unfortunately, his distraction was a trigger for Mannat. I loved her dialogues, pointing out exactly where he goes wrong. Yes, he has stood by her against his family many many times. But he is not able to stop them from insulting her at every step. Which is what she brought up. While he trusts his mom very obviously, and he must, he is not able to trust Mannat enough to take her concern about his health seriously. At the very least.

Ayesha was really good, in her scene with Sunita...this was a person she thought was her biological mom, and she died in her arms, giving her information, that was shocking about ARS. However, I was happy her confrontation was a dream. Don't want her to confront ARS like this, without proof. I am seeing Mannat cornered at this point.

I am wondering how Vikrant will agree to this horrible fake proposal of Malla's after this outburst by Mannat. Unfortunately, he is coming across as insensitive. Especially, by bringing her back to SM. What does he hope to achieve with it?? About trust, and I brought this up with someone, how is he trusting Malla whole heartedly with his relationship with Mannat ? Mannat is the one he should trust , maybe after his mom, how does Malla earn his complete trust? He is better friends with Mannat than Malla at this point? It's not about her being Mannat's bestie, but more about the fact that he doesn't trust Mannat ..period.

Now, like some comments I saw, only Malla's open kaand will teach him a lesson. And prove to him, what Mannat means by complete trust. It means, you know the person so deeply, that you don't need proof. Like he trusts neetu so deeply, I have to add he needs to trust Mannat too, because he intends to marry her, he sees her as his future wife. Classic case of Raja Beta needing to handle both mom and wife. He looked like one cute Raja Beta today, have to say.

PS: I loved the hug, at one point, she almost passes out crying and he pulls her up. That's why, i am kind of he has seen her like this, and how can he continue to trouble her with the fake proposal?

PSS: If anyone can explain to me, his mindset, I am most willing to listen.

I totally agree, Vikrant hasn’t come out if his love struck mode to realise the gravity of the situation. He’s still fooling around with his pre-proposal behaviour, almost oblivious to Mannat emotional state and the effect his mother has had and still having on the poor girl. He’s carrying on a childish collision course and doesn’t know the depths of deception Malla, ARS and Neetu can go to. I do feel bad for him but he’s acting so naively. It’s so wrong that his behaviour is adding more pain and frustration to Mannat emotional state. The more she’s fighting to shut down her emotions the harder he’s pushing for a reaction! She asked him about why he hugged Malla, and he brushed it aside. Now the engagement announcement to Malla will come, so Mannat will convince herself it true and stay loyal to her ‘friend’ so will find it sheer impossible to confess her feelings. So what’s the shock Vikrant needs to stop his game as he’s enjoying it but it’s emotional torture for Mannat 😢

After the questions Mannat raised to Vikrant today i'm starting to doubt he has gone crazy. I think he is going straight for marriage. I’ve been thinking along these lines too…

Vikrant is putting aside trying to win over his mum …. maybe even unknowingly because that’s how he has always dealt with his mum, to just mollify and go along with her, not standing up for himself with her.

So to his mum, Vikku said he (not we) will fix it, meaning his priority is to win over Mannat before she leaves him. He has his dad’s support to then help convince his mother.
But choosing a fake engagement strategy of making Mannat jealous and confess is flawed right from the start, it involves Malla, even if Malla falters for some reason , arch-villain ARS is standing in the shadows to push Neetu to more 🔪emotional blackmail to make Vikrant marry Malla. So this plan is just for the audience to watch Vikrant’s antics, dig his own grave a little more along the way and more FL torture.

I think the only way out for him from Malla’s engagement will be indirectly. He’ll come to find out about his birth secret through increased flash backs and perhaps overhearing Raveena, have a big argument with his mum over it, back out from Malla’s engagement and storm off to that fancy Saluja country house, and Mannat with him. ARS’s blackmail is nullified as Aman truth is out.

IF Neetu then wants to be part of his life, she’ll have to mend her ways and accept Mannat! Similar to OG ….

This assumes Mannat forgives him……based on last time, I think so.
