Yes true, it is equivalent to rain coming n the 2nd innings and match getting abandoned. Some natural/unnatural calamities, nothing can be done. It will be there n the ipl contracts also i think.

Once in an earlier year a CSK playoffs match was played n Lucknow twice i think due to rain. One innings was already played before the rain started.

Or that day they could have got 1 point each similar to a rain abandoned match.

Even in 23 due to rain they postponed the match they followed DlS method...

This match is pretty unfair with Punjab when top 2 depend on this matches

I hope some how they manage to win this one...(That was their day so was the match)now they have to start again so..

What happened to all these teams? No one is giving extras??? This is unfair!

They can follow D/L if the other team bats atleast 5 overs n 2nd innings.

If match is abandoned exactly after 1 innings mostly they get 1 point each.
