Not every movie that Ishaan has been doing is KJo's project. Ishaan even worked with Majid Majidi for Beyond the Clouds, and everyone knows how much internationally applauded director Majid Majidi is. Like I already said, Shahid might have made the path easier for him, but at least Ishaan is not being forcefully presented in front of the audience unlike Janhvi or Ananya. He generally seems to be the kind of actor who rather prefers to work in content driven projects rather than the typical commercial ones.

Into the appearance of a more mature man ? What else. SRK used to look boyish and silly in his 20s. Kuch kuch hota hai and onwards he started peaking looks wise. Saif looked better in his mid thirties than he did in his younger days , before things went downhill.

Ishaan has created a niche for himself. He played eye candy in both The Perfect Couple and The Royals and nailed it. So, looks aren't a problem. He literally has chemistry with everyone from Tabu to Janhvi (Bhumi's the only exception). He's attending Cannes and getting to work with Scorsese and Majid Majidi.

He is doing well for himself
