Without marriage having a child is a taboo.. with marriage it's a risk if the marriage breaks.

Pressure is just real..

It is the cost of raising children too. In Korea, Japan they often complain about high cost of living all the time. Gender wars could be an underlying reason too.

I used to occasionally follow Nomadic Indian who came in his defence. Very disappointing. People just don't know whom to support and whom not to. Let's see if he also comes under the radar of the agencies. smiley44

I know that's a reason but that's the secondary factor right now. Having a child and if marriage didn't last.. child suffers and parents suffer. Cost of raising is definitely debatable too.

No, I did not say that. I was saying that according to survery reports, the MAJORITY of reserved students score the general cutoff. I was addressing the misconception that reservedd students mostly pass with lower cutoffs.

As for what you said about NRIs and NRPs, many NRIs took out rallies in their respective lands after the Pahalgam attack. There were mass demonstrations in several places, I remember. Many NRIs I meet online are very patriotic.

During the conflict too, NRIs from all over showed their support online.

The issue is with the big Indian-origin CEOs and business leaders. They're the ones who remain silent; and they are the ones I'm talking about. The reason is that they cannot speak freely on this, is because they might have to face criticism from a large part of their clientele, or from pro-Pak politicians or industry leaders. Usually, it's against the norm for business leaders to speak out on sensitive political issues.

What survey results are you speaking of ?Please share the data where majority of reserved category students score general category cut off. It is simply not true but I would like to see what survey this is, if there is one ?

what I have seen is that in many instances the cut off can be zero (meaning they had to meeelt appear) and in most instances they are far below the cut off.
