@bold have you seen Pakistani media? It is way more a sensationalizer. Dawn and The News both reported that Pakistan has hit and destroyed India's military Brigade headquarters. They were sensationalizing each and everything way more than Indian media can ever do. Yet they were able to sell their narrative
And no this time government wasn't at fault, Indian military officers did the Press conference and it was very professional and detailed... They didn't leave even an iota of ambiguity. Even the international media did cover airbase losses of Pakistan and showed how much Pakistan is hit.
The issue is Pakistan was able to make it all about the number of jets fallen and claimed victory there since India stayed quite on the number of jets they lost or the number they hit.
Pakistanis within do believe that Indian military is all in ruins..
But my point wasn't even that. What I am saying is even if they were able to convince the world that they have won this war(which wasn't a war in the first place), still there is no ambiguity about who won 71 and 99 ( assuming they claimed and made the world believe the stalemate of 65 and 49 as wins) Even Shehbaz Sharif openly accepted the loss of 71 saying that they avenged that now.
In that case how are they able to bring the jibe 6-0 and make it organically reached out to everyone? Now on social media 6-0 means 6 victory of Pakistan, done and settled. It has nothing to do with international media, nothing to do with government. It has nothing to do with even the big influencer accounts, it's all about common people, it's all them. Pakistanis don't care about the facts but simply spread whatever they want. As you said making anyone who tried to correct them as Pajeet and other slurs. And then Indians leave (I myself would)
We saw how much their army officers made a fool of them but couldn't turn that into a social media meme..
That's what I think is the issue. We shall not focus on making correcting them using facts but simply make memes around them and make that famous. Ignore whether it's true or not
I don't know if I could explain myself
Yes i have seen pakistani media as well. They are no less than us when it comes to sensationalizing news reports. On social media, both pakistanis and indians were using each others media's sensationalized and false reports to mock one another.
Our army definitely held a very detailed press conference and provided true evidence but that happened only after the mutual understanding. The first big blow to india on the global stage was CNN’s report claiming that a Rafale jet was shot down, that was the point when many around the world started believing it was true and saw it as a major defeat for india.
Pakistan then began adding more lies, such as claiming they shot down additional jets. International media started reporting on those claims and by the time our army held a press conference to clarify everything, pakistan’s misinformation had already spread worldwide. So even when we shared the truth, much of the global media either ignored it or people didnt believe us. CNN’s false report about a Rafale being shot down by a J10C caused a lot of damage globally, it spread like wildfire. I saw many foreign reports from the eastern sphere discussing how french high tech jet failed against chinese garbage.
So yes, at that time, our government should have officially denied those false claims early on and could have directly contacted CNN with clarifications. But by the time the army presented detailed and factual information, it was already too late, the world had moved on to other issues and not many paid attention. You can clearly see how india staying silent during the initial days of the conflict ended up harming us, even though we actually won against pakistan.
Regarding what you said about social media and the 6-0 meme, yes both indians and pakistanis were mocking each other with memes. The 6-0 and fantastic tea were two of pakistan’s meme weapons against india. Of course, they were spreading lies but they did it for their country, just as indians did for theirs with other memes. In fact, many indian memes gained far more traction than Pakistan’s 6-0 and fantastic tea memes. So overall indians were winning the social media war, we were way ahead of them.
Just check any india-pakistan conflict tweet on X and look at the proportion of indians vs. pakistanis. Even if some pakistani says something against India, you will see how indian users gang up on them. I have seen the same on Insta too.
Coming to china claiming arunachal pradesh, just look at the number of likes on that post. It was only around 4.1k, which isnt a big deal. Random indian social media users get more likes than that on their pakistan related memes.
One more piece of evidence that indians have a much stronger social media presence than pakistanis, there was a pakistani minister who said something about the conflict and a random indian guy mocked him. The indian’s tweet got 18k likes while the pakistani minister’s original tweet barely had 5-6k likes.
So you cant say indians dont have social media presence, they actually have and much more stronger than pakistanis.

No awareness of Pakistan doing terrorism but India being aggressive towards it for no reason.
