Sorry couldn’t reply before.
Suffice it to say I disagree with every line of your post and if I started writing my disagreements, it would take quite some time and it’ll be a big wall of text. I’ll just address one issue that struck me the wrong way and keep it as succinct as possible.
For me progressive doesn't mean we neglect negative outcomes and long run case....Practically if seen we are learning all this from West, chalo who are they if I see America a developed nation- half of broken marriages, 40% illegitimate kids, suicidal rates of men at peak, more than 1 crore suffering DV at next scale with population not even 1/5th of ours, every 6th women gets r@ped, losing virginity in school would have slept with 10 before marriage etc etc....
You are worried about girls getting “corrupt” because they are sleeping with 10 men before marriage but aren’t addressing the fact that those ten men should also be deemed “corrupt” — matlab ladki soti hai toh woh sl*t, ladka toh kuch nahi ? The double standards is the problem.
The stats you keep referring to ? Those stats exist in India too! In India, couples often stay in toxic marriages to “save face,” cheat on each other in secret, and suffer silently because divorce is still taboo. That’s not something to feel morally superior about honestly. Please don’t tell me US mein r!pe zyada hai. You know, I know how much gets underreporting goes on in the country because of “aurat ka izzat” which is funny because men not only violate a woman’s consent but also claim moral higher ground as if it was the fault of the woman. You and I both know how many cases are silenced, unreported, or dismissed. US mein people report the offence, the where the victims at least have a hope of getting justice. Yahan toh — we don’t even allow women to speak without blaming them.
In India still most of this are considered non sense.....we are poor/illiterate, lacking resources- underdeveloped nation....still core majboot hai atleast not normalised.... unfortunately a country from where those ppl learn the sanctity of relationships is getting influenced by such...
You are proud of the fact that even after 76 years of independence this country continues to be illiterate ? ( poor toh hum hai nahi — people are poor, politicians, businessmen, government, influential peeps are DEFINITELY NOT ) Poverty and lack of education are issues we should be working to eliminate — not using as proof that our “core is strong. You claim a holier than thou attitude towards US because they live their lives on their terms ? Sorry I don’t accept, not to mention it’s judgemental.
Just because we suffer silently doesn’t mean we’re more “pure.” It means we’ve normalised pain and control in the name of tradition.
Miesty I didn't mention gender for celibacy so ye name calling kahan se aayi ....
I don't think here more than 15% women are r@ped like US and justice rate of India toh is weak in every department ig so kya bol sakte hain....still India has laws which are even against men as it's the most misused section as well (25% fake cases ig)....phir bhi for the sake of girls changes nhi laaye hain.....so yeah I think in this sense it's better....
In metro cities 5 in 10 married women cheat whereas percentage is quite low from tier 2-3.....they don't suffer instead 70% divorces are initiated by them.....so what should I conclude ???
And you didn't understand, I just asked ki crime toh US aur other countries mein bhi achche khaase hain if not more when they are developed whereas India is suffering from poverty and illiteracy na fir kis soch se hum apne desh pe sawaal karein...
Yk what is exact problem if in Portugal aaj 80% divorces hain woh humesha se nhi the and that's the reality ki toxicity mein insaan 5-10% rehte hain baaki 70% freedom ka gakat faayda uthate hai unka kya uske baad jo bachcho pe society pe and so much????
First of all, I want to say that I'm an atheist. If people think negatively about me because of that on this forum, I don't care at all. So, I don't want to bring any religious reference in my posts. Still, you've quoted my post and have brought religion in your comment, so I'll give a reply. Yes, I know that goddesses are treated with a lot of respect in India. But that respect is limited to goddesses only. Is that good? Bro, do you know the case of R.G.Kar hospital? Do you know how brutally a female doctor was molested and killed in Kolkata last year? That incident was so inhuman that a lot of people marched saying "we demand justice" for so many days. Do you think it's good that idols are treated with great respect and human beings (females) are treated so badly?
Even if Soti Daho Protha was brought by foreigner invaders, many, many Indians supported the practice in the past. Do you know the case of Roop Kanwar? She was a Rajput and she died at the age of 18. She was burnt alive after her husband's death in Rajasthan. The year was 1987 and there was no foreign invader at that time.
You won't believe di let me give you real example my friend studies in govt medical college and on his first day he was asked to do pole dance nhi karne par belt se aur beer fenk ke ragging ki....semi govt mein aur bura hota hai private ka chhoro.....
What you saw about RG Kar college na woh pehla case nhi hai wahan aur actually kahin bhi....infact in reputed institute like BITS Goa beach pe log kya karte hain along with drugs I can't write....and if you don't know there is percentage of men as well who are r@ped....
So ye two sided hai but currently make dominance se patched up .....Sati pratha as I mentioned is result of foreigners and unfortunately it became part of culture, I just mentioned ki I follow core stuffs not made up rules like burning widows jo ki kahi nhi likha hai....
Baaki if you are atheist chalega I love Sanatan not so religious but I like spiritual values....Maine sirf quote kiya tha to mention ye humara origin nhi hai...

How is the topic of ragging relevant here? I think you don't know anything about the case of R.G. Kar Hospital. She was not a victim of ragging there. She was not a student there but a 31-year-old postgraduate junior doctor. News mein bataya gaya tha ki us doctor ko kuch cheezo ke bare mein pata chal gaya tha, iss liye uske saath wo sab hua tha. If you want to know what happened, you can search on Google. You'll find a lot of news articles related to the topic.
I know men get molested as well. But that doesn't change the fact that women are treated so poorly. The number of molested women is way higher than molested men. So, you can't compare them with each other. Dangerous crimes happen against small baby girls too.
You can watch this YouTube video. In this video, a very popular YouTuber, Dhruv Rathee, also says the same thing that I said yesterday. He says on one hand, goddesses are worshipped, and on the other hand, heinous crimes happen against women.

If you want to watch a light-hearted show, you can try My Demon. It's a love story of a demon and a human. There are many funny scenes in this K-drama. Song Kang and the female lead looked good together in the show.
I like this song.
This is not an antagonistic topic, it's in reference to the dropping TRPs and rumours of Bhavika's return. Alot of people will say this...
