•And now this scene with him holding the blazer over them, sheltering her from the sprinkling.

These are more than just the 'aashiqui' pose. In all of these scenes they are beneath some sort of canopy. It's always Vikrant holding the canopy of his warmth, love, and care over his Mannat.

Same thoughts...

On their first meet too, he protected her from rain...

The seashore moment too was replicated when Mannat showed her haq on him... that day I wrote this too... don't know if you read... that their story started on the same seashore .. and a new beginning too.
