Yeah, they are 99% muslim and lets give them the benefit of the doubt but the fact that they clearly oppose the madrasa ideology says a lot about them. The root cause of Islamic terrorism is madrasa ideology and if they are condemning it, that tells us a lot about where they stand.
Secondly, their leaders have praised Indian culture, calling Hindu culture very ancient and peaceful and saying the people are nice. They have even made positive remarks about swamis and similar figures. On top of that, they have condemned Islamic terrorism in Europe and strongly criticized the USA and UK for supporting terrorism in Pakistan.
I have hopes for them. I hope they achieve independence. Even if they stick to their Islamic core ideology, i believe they would maintain friendlier relations with India due to a few reasons, we dont share a border and we have a common adversary in Pakistan. Its similar to Afghanistan, despite being an example of extreme Islamic ideology, they still support India because of their conflict with Pakistan.
So supporting Balochistan is a win-win situation for both India and Balochistan, regardless of whether they stick to their core Islamic extremist ideology or not.
@bold that's why I said they need independence. One more factor.. they will oppose Pakistani State of it would still exist.
