My question is why did Prime minister agree for cease fire. How did a certain joker come to take credit for this cease fire?

What were the cease fire terms.

I'm really sorry to say that our armed forces and the people of India were let down by the political leadership.

I fully supported our aremed forces and our political leadership despite it was not the party I voted for. The entire political establishment was behind the primemninster yet he let down the country.

All thanks to our political leadership we lost the war despite winning the battle

Bro Get over it. You guys failed. Now you can only cry.

I know Many hate this govt for crush you fav country and not spreading the narrative that you all wanted. Ye Pakistan nahi hai where you can create a wedge between political leadership and Military. I guess you enjoyed Congi of 26/11.

Just writing about respecting Armed forces doesn't give you liberty to trash anyone them being govt or diplomats.

Also to all the people lecturing me, you know I won't stop, anyone and I mean anyone writes such Bakwas will get the same response.

Bro. I ann genuinely not angry and asked a question out of curiosity. If one is not ok with endgame and openly states they are not supporters of Modi, I am glad. Perhaps they can explain why they aren’t happy with endgame. Either it will be congressi response or something else they preferred as endgame and hence my question instead of assuming. So I don’t know why I got a lecture on what a democracy is

And on some of my other responses why should anyone thopofy democracy to use it for self but assume the other person doesn’t have same democratic rights ?Democracy applies to everyone equally na ? If someone wants to call top beauraucrats and foreign secy corrupt in the name of democracy and make statements like Modi should step down and not be commander in chief of armed forces (implying unfit to lead as those powers are per constitution) in the name of democracy . Why would I just take it ? I have same democratic rights as the traitors and gaddars and critics. They express their opinion, I express mine.

Do you expect us to plunge into a full scale war like Ukraine-Russia or Israel-Palestine, burning through our resources, halting development and destabilizing the nation??

Look at the facts, Mission Sindoor has already achieved its core objectives:

1. Our army killed over 100 terrorists and destroyed multiple terror camps.

2. We destroyed their multiple air bases.

3. We dealt a significant blow to their military infrastructure.

4. We issued a firm warning by targeting areas near the Nur Khan Airbase and Kirana Hills, making it clear that any provocation will be met with decisive retaliation.

So what more are you expecting?? If you are talking about the terrorists behind the Pahalgam attack, yes, they are in hiding. Eliminating them wont be instant. It could take a year or two, but rest assured justice will be served.

Our forces have completed the mission objectives and sent a loud message: India will not be intimidated and nuclear blackmail holds no power over us.

Now again, what more do you want??Should we drag ourselves into a prolonged war with Pakistan, just like Russia and Israel, bleeding our economy dry and stalling decades of progress??

Right now, India stands at a strategic advantage on the global stage, especially amidst the US-China trade war. This is our moment to focus on economic growth, global partnerships and technological advancement, not to waste time in conflict with a begger nation like Pakistan.

And if you are suggesting that India should completely destroy Pakistan, lets be realistic. Even non nuclear nations like Ukraine and Palestine have resisted powerful nations like Russia and Israel. Eliminating a nation isnt as simple as it sounds. It would take decades and cost us dearly, we would end up just as broken.

This government and our PM have shown bold, effective leadership during Mission Sindoor. Frankly i doubt any previous government would have had guts to act with such clarity and strength.

Lastly, our government never agreed to a term ceasefire, they termed it an understanding. That distinction matters. Pakistan has been clearly warned, any act of terrorism will be treated as an act of war and responded to accordingly.

@bold- Very true!! Its the first time Indian Govt has given such strong retaliation tow Pakistan for its decades of terror attacks. When Mumbai 26/11 attacks happened, what did the previous govt do? Nothing but cry in UN and peace talks with Paksmiley7And creation of NIA probably. Thats it. I still don't see a strong criticism for that. Now even when Govt did so much still I see many are not happy.

@pink- you know when Trump announced ceasefire I was quite disappointed. Because it just came out of blue midst a operation when clearly India had a upper hand and the whole day Pakistani people were claiming victory and there was no statement from our govt. But after the next day PC of DGMO's, I have no complaints. They clearly laid out what India had achieved and how they retaliated against Pak attacks and I understood Pakistan was doing nothing but spreading lies and propganda because it could not wom anything on ground. And as you said there was no mention of ceasefire or even US trade deal or trump. Govt also made it clear that no trade talks came up and there will be strong action if Pakistan did anything again.

Its just that even now Pak is sending drones here and there which should not be normalized and there should be strong action against it.

I think for our generations, millennials, GenZ... even Gen X this is a turning point in relations with Pakistan.

I have unfollowed all Pakistanis from my finsta except for 2. Those 2 have not said incendiary stuff about India yet, only supported Pakistan. But now I've started seeing them put up negative stories about India, and am this close to unfollowing them.

I can only imagine what Israel would've gone through now. For us it was 26 victims. For them it was thousands! Jab aap-beeti hoti hai tab asli sach samajh mein aata hai....
