@red: even today lot of people put up to other people's worst behavior in the name of love .... Also for some other reason.... Let's be truthful, I feel lot of people even here might have compromised their self respect for different reasons... For examples Like we keep our self respect aside and apologize to relatives only because of love for our parents...in practical life , we do... But I believe for everything there is limit to take .... And we and loved ones should decide that limit before it goes overboard. That makes our and our loved relationship to next level.

But I completely agree Vikrant needs to fully appreciate the effect of Neetu’s unfair comments have on Mannat and shouldn’t allow it to continue. I think once the Aman truth is nearing or out Neetu will change her tone with Mannat completely.

I think it's really important for Mannat to leave the (out)house of horrors for a couple of reasons.

Self respect: After everything that happened before and during the Shalini track, it made no sense for her to come back there, even if it was for Vikrant. She definitely had options -Harneet paaji, even Shalini had offered her a place to stay.

Respect from others: Except for Vikrant, no one really cares for Mannat, and even if they do, it isn't because of who Mannat is, it's how she's linked to them ot to their agendas. Ronnie shows some amount of care because he knows that Vikrant likes her. To Gagan, she is a means to get under ARS's skin.

And honestly, in some ways, because she really hasn't put up a fight, I feel Vikrant takes her staying there for granted, despite the way his mom, especially treats her. It frustrates me that everytime Neetu humiliates and ill treats Mannat, it's chalked up to her being emotional. 😡

I think Mannat leaving will not only be a high point but also a turning point in Mannat and Vikrant's relationships. I, for one am totally ready for it. 🍿

I had mentioned earlier that people insult you because you let them do so.

Mannat should realise the toxicity in SM and stay away. She should find a safe g accomodation or a working womens hotel. The stres caused by SM residents is nothing compared to the danger lurking outside. Several attempts on her life, character and demeaning of her without a cause need not be endured even for the sake of tje gratitude she feels to the BKB.

Absence makes the heart grow fonder...let her leave the Devdas form of Vikrant should make Neetu change.
