Dear Diary,

Let's delve into the realm of love today. I know, I know, I write my thoughts about love everyday. I have been writing about love since one year. But today I'll write something slightly different. I'll shed light on the uplifting nature of love. When I was a teenager I read a book written by a renowned author. In that book, it was written love could change a person's personality immensely. Even though I liked the writing style, the story and the complexities of relationships depicted in the book, I didn't believe in those particular words. I always thought only a person's own will and efforts could change him. Years passed, I forgot about the quotes and the book. Then one day a girl came into my life. When I saw her for the first time I couldn't take my eyes away from her big, captivating eyes. There was so much depth in those eyes that they reminded me of my favourite romantic poem. Yes, her eyes seemed like a poem to me. They're as expressive as my favourite poem. When I like a particular poem it doesn't go out of my mind. I think about the poem a lot and appreciate its beauty. Similarly, her eyes didn't go out of my mind. I couldn't understand what was happening to me. That's how I fell in love with my Aparajita. She's the one who rekindled my interest in music. Her mellifluous voice inspired me to sing again. Her dedication towards music reminded me of my old days. Gradually, I started changing because of her. She made me understand the importance of speaking up when required. Her boldness is one of her most admirable traits. I started prioritising my own emotions over the feelings of others and I never did that before. My love for Aparajita helped me become a better version of myself. Now I understand what the author wanted to convey. Aparajita left me one year ago but my love for her grew stronger. Her absence made me realise her value even more. Aparajita is my strength, my inspiration and my best friend. Nobody can take her place and I'll love her till my last breath.

You write beautifully but in the serial they had very little time not even showed confessing love in a proper way ...She was infatuated with RR for a long time and Dr Neil was obsessed on her ...Nothing much happened between them ...So Neil n which way 🤔 should feel like that ...Any ways beautiful imagination...They never even hugged or kissed each other! So Neil moving on is good he has entire life in front of him ..

Thank you. 🤣🤣

a man and a woman are sitting at a table with a sign that says sorry sorry sorry

Honestly, I really loved his performance in Baazigar and Darr. Those are my favourite SRK films. The hits are actually quite boring to me (sorry again) since they don't have the repeat value (I feel so, again apologies) and the concepts are quite weird. In DDLG, I couldn't fathom how Kajol's character, Simran could potentially end up with Raj because he literally stalked her throughout Europe. What on earth! Although I understand the 90s portrayed such behaviour as insistent courtship and true, charming love, but Simran clearly wasn't interested in him before he started deliberately intruding into her personal life.

In KKHH, the whole "pyaar dosti hai" messed up really big time. Also, I couldn't understand how an eight year old girl could do and say all that in the 90s! The letters were quite strange, considering the fact that Rani's character gave up completely and named her after Anjali. Alright, that's poignant. But why did she think that Anjali could possibly reunite her father's pehla pyaar, pehli dosti on her freaking eighth birthday?! We won't go into the contemporary criticism themed around gender dynamics of the film because I have taken a pledge to limit my words. smiley37 The film to me was nothing but SRK's Rahul finally getting both the girls and Salmon Bhai was left alone, crying. I feel you, Savlon Bhai. smiley19smiley37

K3G was Ekta Kapoor inspired or Ekta Maata's inspiration (since I am not sure about the timeline; it's the same question of what came first: the egg or the chicken). It was a soap opera stretched for 3 hours and the film was stretched like a chewing gum literally, for the size of the theatre screen. It had the same tropes, same 3 generations, same heavy makeup, same weird catchphrases (think Poo), same ghar waapsi, same mother and mother-in-law, same Jaya and BigB passive fight, and a melodramatic background music. I really thought about SRK's choices when I saw that film.

Raju Bana Gentleman was a comic relief. I liked it. Kal Ho Naa Ho was pretty good. But others like the later 2000s to 2010s, I absolutely dislike. Mohabbatein was a rip-off of one of my favourite films in Hollywood - Dead Poets Society. They did a fair job but not convincing. And I have a special corner for hating Chennai Express in my heart. Rightfully so. 😤🤣

P. S. But I like the songs in his movies. I even parodied them as you all know. smiley37

Yep. Young Aamir Khan was so good-looking. I like most of his films too. Andaaz Apna Apna was a banger. 😍😍 I started liking him probably because I watched QSQT after my parents talked at length about the 90s. I love the songs and the story was beautiful, yet tragic.

Bold@ Thank you!

I respect your opinion. There's nothing wrong about moving on. But I want to share a different perspective here. Many guys harbour strong feelings for the girls they love. Tejaswini was not only Neil's first love, but also his wife. Yes, physical intimacy plays a huge role in relationships. It intensifies passion and emotions between two people. But that's not everything. Mental connection is also very important. Neil started singing again after listening to Tejaswini's voice. Her voice touched the strings of his heart in such a way that he sang after so many years. He never felt that way before. Aparajita flower is known as a symbol of positivity in Indian culture. Similarly, Tejaswini brought positive vibes in his life. Aparajita flower is used as a medicine in Ayurveda. Similarly, Tejaswini had the ability to heal his wounded heart. Even if Savi becomes his wife in the future, she can never take Tejaswini's place.

Kal Ho Na Ho, Swades and Dear Zindagi are some of the films I like. Rahul Raichand in a black kurta is 🫠 and that’s the only reason for watching K3G personally smiley37

Music is 💯 I agree.
