Anyway regardless of what people think of modi as some muslim hater or hitler, I believe he has soft corner for poor paki junta. If you have heard him adress them directly a few months back on working together to fight garibi and education etc as if he was their PM. He himself comes from lower strata so understands the toll an all out war can take on regular people.

Also the Pakistanis have been reaching out to their counterparts on this side of the border for ceasefire...it's their rogue army who is operating under Chinese influece wanting to continue the conflict.

There is clearly divide between pakiatani political leadership and their army.

That could also be the reason modi isn't going all out.. who knows.

Call it prithviraj syndrome but it is what it is.

Heck even I am feeling somewhat sympathetic thinking about the possible distruction in our neighborhood. We want to see them florish along with us. We were one people once upon a time afterall.

I guess I'm much more ruthless and cold than you when it comes to revenge. smiley9

We are on the same side and I also understand your statements/views.

What I am saying is that we didn't gain any objective for getting into the conflict with them. We did inflict a lot of harm to them but they still continue to be the same as they were.

Unless Pakistan agreed to our conditions, and stops behaving the way it has been, that's not a victory for us, unless we think the objective was to destroy Pakistan defence system.

If that was one objective, then we have won decisively.

I want PM Modi to come up to clear these issues and to also counter their narrative and tell the world what we achieved out of it. If not we need to wait till 12th and understand what conditions India got Pakistan to agree to.

Thanks for responding me and clearing a lot of doubts I had. I am not into any argument. Trust me I have as much faith in my army and PM(CoC in this case) as you have. But I still can expect something from the government

P.S. I really appreciate that in times like these you are refraining to anything that might cause a tussle between us Indians

We need to stand together in this irrespective of our stance and differences

I too appreciate your dialogue. Hence I am responding.

1. The world actually knows Pakistan is a state sponsor of terror. We all know it

2. It knows it is armed with nuclear weapons and dangerous and controlled by army hand in glove with terrorists sorry excuse to support them in agree

3. If one thinks logically our goal is same elimination of Islamic terrorism - to do that today would mean complete elimination of every Pakistani how do we know who is covert who is overt and who isn’t ? Words of trump and as we know they have committed genocide as a society and country not just their govt

4 hence I feel the move by government that previous governments did nothing like 26/11 has always moved us further the surgical strikes law time was a lot less than current actions post pehelgam ? Correct ? Heck some wondered if there were surgical strikes

5 I personally love the multi pronged approach from IwT to trade sanctions to military action . In fact why the hell haven’t we done it before since a long time ?

6 I also believe the government is actually also acting against enemies within - remember 🇮🇳did not give them the super majority to do NRC / UCC etc but we still complain about it . However ugly incidents like this enables the govt without a roadblock like SC (desperate topic)

Ty for engagement. We are on same side here. I appreciate the dialogue. 🇮🇳 for the win :) (long run win) :)

Well its good that they at least announced it. Otherwise the Pakistani narrative would have prevailed.

Ye Congress supporters ko please ignore karein. They will only make such statements to speak anti Modi

This was the worst time to discuss politics but I knew it will be done. I had mentioned it in the previous thread

I think I do have the ability to make my own judgement without falling prey to narratives.

However, Since we are both pro India let's just agree to disagree on this particular stand of mine.

Yes that could have been even better.

you are my brother from another mother. I hope you know that :).

Being a global leader is a very tough job. It’s a lot different than being a CM he has to use shaaam daaam dand bhed he has to do sabkaaa saath sabkaaaa Vikas - in reality not just bs like previous governments since independence

And I am glad you get it - leadership isn’t easy

as they say “Uneasy lies the head that wears the crown”.

When are you getting rid of your post limits brother ?

What I would have preferred is that they should have made a statement or a press release that there is an offer from pak to de escalate and we are considering it. If pakistan didn't refute that Then only after an hour or two they should have released a statement that after due consideration we are accepting pak's proposal of ceasefire or deescalation. That would have placed us in a position of power rather than pak who is now claiming it as THEIR win. We lost at the table again.

Clearly we are not good with these mind games, putting up appearances, and floating lies. Just take this thread only. One troll post by someone and the entire group got rattled and gave their stupid post unwarranted attention. Kya hi baat hota if we ignored them and let them die a natural death? Lekin nahi. We basically don’t think with our brains. That’s why 1/3rd of our ancestors gave in to conversions.

Problem is that Modi is missing, he is not speaking at all and people don't listen to army people or officers
