I don't think we had any other option

We struck their last airbase as they were announcing ceasefire, we have done a lot of damage and got away easily

Aur kya chahiye

i am happy we had ceasefire after killing terrorists in their soil, in their houses..revenge is complete already there..their target is complete..If terrorists act again missiles will strike them again..

any nation continuously under turmoil cant fluorish ...apple wants space from states to start their production here ..Who will come here if there is continuous bombing..this year is important for our economic growth...even russia which is war torn had to face sanctions, lessen oil price ..

After killing terrorists in their soil they again killed our civilians in our country, they launched missiles across the country and before we could do anything to teach them a lesson CF happened. USA ko intervene karna tha to 8th ko hi kar deta but no they did it now when our citizens were waiting for a Revenge of the deaths of innocent civilians

It was USA who mediated and made both countries to agree for ceasefire

Dekho I know government would have it's reasons to go for this Ceasefire lekin ye sab calculate and anticipate karke start karte na.

Or else they should have said ki IWT ko db abeyance me rakhenge. Ye military waale me jaate hi nhi

Military will continue to find them I think. Aise attacks band ho gaye hai. We did lost our people. Problem hamen yeh h ki pakistani civilians ko hamari army ne target ne kiya.

This cease fire happened because of misinformation pakistan created on nuclear. Sach baat yeh hai. USA had to interfere because of that.

Engaging in a full-scale war could have decisively weakened Pakistan, but at what cost to India? Our economy, currently the fifth-largest globally with a nominal GDP of approximately $4.27 trillion in 2025, could have been severely impacted. Such a conflict would have undermined the significant progress we've made in recent decades. The government has consistently emphasized that the objective is to target terrorist infrastructure, not to engage in prolonged warfare. This approach was evident in Operation Sindhoor, where precision strikes were carried out against terror camps, ports, airbases, and military installations, achieving their intended goals with minimal collateral damage.

However, sustaining such operations indefinitely is not feasible. Prolonged military engagement would have diverted resources and attention from our development agenda. Unlike Pakistan, which has faced challenges in governance and economic stability, India is on a trajectory toward becoming a developed nation. Our focus remains on inclusive growth, technological advancement, and social progress.

The ceasefire agreement, brokered through U.S.-mediated talks involving President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Marco Rubio, reflects a strategic decision to de-escalate tensions. This decision aligns with India's broader foreign policy objectives and the expertise of our leadership, including External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar.

While it's natural for us citizens to have differing opinions, it's essential to trust the government's judgment, which is informed by comprehensive intelligence and diplomatic considerations. Their efforts have consistently prioritised national interest and regional stability. Let's continue to support our leadership as they navigate these complex challenges.

💯 This!!

Believe me... Past few days proved we have stronger weapons than what China, Turkey and Pakistan have produced.

China would have been happy if war would havr continued because it had its own different agenda with US over tariff increase and most companies are planning to move manufacturing out of China and India seemed best next viable options...

War would have just increased lot of pressure, affected people across nation, production, business and daily problems in general.. Ever since 2014, wars and attacks have been around in Kashmir and not my city where we had trains blast series and Taj hotel incident. It's cruel and cruelty at its worse. So, I think think this government is thinking little better than previous government in terms of development..

After Indira Gandhi, clowns have filled Congress and we definitely need stronger oppositions, who can question government on policies and strategies but stay united for national interest rather than mocking country at international level... Videos of RG questioning Made in India items and stuff that opposition at this point is very weak too!

So happy with ceasefire and hope my friends in northern part of country are bit more relaxed now (trust me, we were out in anxiety and those people were all chilled, albeit with darkness and blackout), and soldiers on holidays can return back home.
