Madhu, beautifully written evoking the emotions of those left behind, the hapless kin of the brave warriors. Torn between love, duty, faith, anxiety, dread, anguish - theirs is a fate few spare a thought for. Heart- rending.

Salutations to all our soldiers
(A soliloquy by a soldier's wife)
This is a tribute to our brave soldiers and their families.👏
--------------
I pushed aside my distress to hear your heroics in the battlefield
And I focused on the route you were gone, my dear
Recalling your warrior stride to take up the heroic action.
Spread my gaze on the path to see you come back.
Come once, riding on my wishes to share your smile.
Come, to rest your head for comfort on my waiting heart.
Blood, Fight, and the surrounding snow mountains...
Death, no one nearby, invincible hope as your friend.
Beyond heaven and hell, to safeguard your mother's pride
Left behind your kith and kin, you marched forward
In this awful darkness... extending my prayers to provide you safety.
Riding over clouds and wading through harsh seas.
Missiles on your shoulders, moving as a valiant soldier.
But, what a fool I am for thinking you as my own.
Calling you back to rest for a while before continuing your stride.
Yes, I am worried about you and your whereabouts.
Yes, my heart is longing to see you... once, once again
Must be sleeping on a hard rock, using the rifle as a pillow.
Counting the stars to make a medallion to adorn your nation!
My only wish at present is come back my dear soldier
To see the glow in your wife's eyes, to caress your child's head
Come back, my dear soldier, to salute the tricolour flag!
With pride, once again, to say Jai Hind.

Hopefully, this can somehow reach them.
Situations and your poem made me emotional.

Wow Wonderfully Written
Madhu
Two words, beautiful and emotional.
Very well written Madhu.
Salute to all the soldiers who put their lives on the line to protect the nation.
Cheers..

Really nice soliloquy Madhu di and Nushkie
The war came to a halt, and a cease-fire was declared. Peace reigns on both sides.
However, this soldier will never return to his mother.
With full state honours, she received his body, a glory that emanated from her tears.
Proud of our Armed forces, we all should draw inspiration from their valour and love for our motherland
Beautiful words Madhu didi
