De escalation at this point will be disastrous for India as Pakistan will take it as an encouragement to increase and escalate it's terrorism against us.

But I can't exactly blame the govt. also seeing the lack of support from one part of Indians themselves , those who are yelling for peace with terroists and de escalation with the enemy .

There was no captured tail, but about attacked, and that too all the people here were saying they don't believe media and would wait for official confirmation.

Pakistanis on the other hand were shouting about hitting 5 Indian jets even before any confirmation
