I keep rice in a vessel and strain out the excess starch. So sometimes if I am busy with something else, the rice gets soggy.

Haha this thread is a whole mood 😅 I still remember trying to make a pesarattu-style dosa using moong dal flour because I saw it on Instagram. I didn’t measure anything (confidence level = chef 😎), just mixed flour, water, and a bunch of spices. Let’s just say... it was not dosa. It was a thick, rubbery, green disc that looked like a science experiment. I tried to save it by adding rice flour halfway, but ended up making it worse. My mom took one bite and quietly slid the plate away 💀 Lesson learned: moong dal flour is great, but it actually needs balance. Now I measure everything like I’m on MasterChef 😆
