I read chapter 2 this morning, and will read chapter 3 tonight.

I’ve started reading tonight, almost getting to the second chapter.

Ok, I’m caught up to Chapter 2.

Is this world a different setting from ours? Cos the way the college is described makes me think it is with no real world places mentioned so far. This is my first RunyX book and I’m not familiar with the genre either so asking.

Also, it’s clear that her father and sister are dead, and very likely the girl who jumped in the prologue scene is Olivia. But the news story mentions a male student who died 2 years ago so that wasn’t clear. Are both deaths connected?

oh I took asp to mean snake - like you know the one Cleopatra wore on her crown . Didn’t know it was supposed to mean something. Also not sure how to pronounce Salem. Is it SUH- lame or SAY- Lum? Or something else? I’m calling her the latter in my head cos there’s a town in South India that is spelt the same and is pronounce that way

I’m pronouncing the same way as you - it reminded me of the Salem witches 🤣 I wondered why Runyx chose that name.
