But the way this PM is obsessed with movies/BW stars/dress up......this should not come as a surprise........but I would say that PM is smart....the way he has used the entertainment industry.....to divert people's attention from the real problems.....kudos....Pehelgam massacre has lead to the blocking of the Insta accounts of the Pak actors.....I am like ...seriously....

Imagine the level of intimidation that must have gone into getting all these people to line up. Sure a lot of them are opportunists but as moneyminded or shrewd SRK is he'd have never done this if he could help it. Kids, like you said.

Deepika isn't going to Metgala,even though LV is the main sponsor. She doesn't think it is worth it. That is power of CHOICE.Earlier she used to attend MET..then Cannes(those days 3 carpets) and then come back.In 2018 she attended the Times 100 (NOT Times Impact)then went to Met and Cannes.Why travel so far!Makes sense for PC..not others.

Back then she did it for visibility. That Xander Cage movie had just come out. She was aiming for foreign projects. Nothing worked out. And her met Gala looks were a dud. She looked stunning in some but that wasn't the point. The Commes Des Garçons one was more like Commes De nightgown. Again pretty but missed the point. Loved her first Cannes look Not the best saree but it was draped well and the hairstyle complemented her. The LV looks are mostly awkward but there was one that looked great ,a black mini dress in leather with huge rivets.

She can afford to not go anymore ,her popularity back home is still solid. Unlike Aish who has to go to Cannes to remind everyone including herself she's still around. Even if Deepika starts bloating and stops working overnight she can still boast of having had a great run. 18 years and still a mainstream female 'lead ' on the brink of 40.

I joined this forum, when SM was exploding ,It was really the best of times! Saawariya and OSO were releasing...It shaped this forum forever. I remember staying up past midnight to read TOI latest breaking news.Never knew what was going to hit me-Rankat news..or another top actress signing a Khan film. It was such a ride. Everything was new.Today there is no TOI entertainment, no Mumbai Mirror, no Midday breaking news to make us jump."Neetu is carrying family jewels to give it to Katrina at the dinner at a restaurant" screamed a headline! Katrina dances at Arpita's wedding! Deepika seen with Djokovic!

I remember paying more attention to Aish after Sonam joined Loreal .Uff the wait for the first look..I still remember gasping at the glimpse of the black and white My fair lady inspired dress,Sonam wore.I didn't know Fan Bingbing..she wore an ordinary dress..but seemed to be more popular with the paps and media..

The new stars and fans missed all that. Like everything else..over time everything loses its appeal.
