They clean swept the viewers choice awards. Kabli Pulao swept the critics choice but lost popular category for best ost to Tere Bin. Both dramas clean swept either viewers choice or critics. Can’t believe Hum TV didn’t take a single award for drama.
Some statistics:
• Wahaj Ali is now the second male actor to win both Best TV Actor and Best Film Actor in the same year (Feroze was the first one, undeservingly so)
• Yumna Zaidi just won her sixth LSA; she's only one award short of breaking Mahira Khan's record
• Kashif Nisar won his fourth directing award breaking his own record
• Zafar Mairaj finally won Best Writer after getting nominated again and again
• Kabli Pulao is now one of the most awarded shows in the history of LSAs along with Humsafar, Pyarey Afzal and Ranjha Ranjha Kardi
• Green Military Entertainment did extremely well, winning 6 awards this year
• Hum TV got zero wins after years of domination
This was the year of fan groups campaigning for their favorite stars and dramas. You just can't justify Wahaj winning Best Film Actor and Romaisa winning Best Film Actress when there were far more deserving performances. Films like Zindagi Tamasha and In Flames didn't even get a single nomination even though both of them were submitted for Oscar consideration. A truly bizarre year!!

Hum TV didn't got because of favortism
I don't think it's the case of favouritism. Hum TV didn't have a stand out drama that came out in 2023. They have showered Hum TV with so many awards over the years; they'll probably do Hum good next year. I also heard that they were also supposed to air on Hum TV, but backlash happened and the ceremony was cancelled. May be they were hitting back by giving Hum zero wins!
