My Theories on current track of ACP Ayushmann

I've been die hard fan of CID since the beginning. I saw Parth briefly in KZK2 where I thought he was okayish. But damn... him in CID as current ACP is such a treat to watch.

I'm not worried about him replacing ACP Pradyuman as he is irreplaceable and secondly, I'm 90% sure ACP Pradyuman will be back. Its the current track of Barbosa for which Parth is ACP.

The TRIO are irreplaceable and are the USP of this show. They did that in past too, showing one of them dead and later come back. I think ACP Pradyuman also died before and came back where it was all the plan. This time too, I believe Pradyuman is alive and will come out soon.

For Parth, I think there are two possibilities that I can think of... either he is working for Barbosa and taken the role of ACP Ayushman to break the team from inside, to destroy CID bit by bit from within. Hence, making him the actual villain of current track.

But logically thinking how can anyone just take a role of ACP in CID, plus all his credentials and history shows he worked in force and hence moved up as ACP. So either he was turned into corrupt officer by Barbosa or he is actually clean and real.

Which brings to next theory, Parth is actually helping ACP Pradyuman and trying to find the actual corrupt officer and he is trying to dismantle Barbosa's gang along with ACP Pradyuman.

Even though in Sunday's episode it showed how ACP Ayushmann was following ACP Pradyuman and fired at him but I think they joined hands there.

My last theory is wild and I know low-key impossible but hey... it's ACP Pradyuman's son - Nakul who somehow survived being shot by his father and now reappeared with face of ACP Ayushmann. (If this is not it... ill just write whole fan fiction on this track. Lol).

One thing that made me really fan of Parth that so far whenever he addressed Daya and Abhijeet he used 'Aap' despite being their senior. I don't know if it's writer's decision because ACP Ayushmann is younger than them or whether it's Parth's decision to give respect to these characters and actors. But it's just something that really made me smile.

Firstly Ika! It's so nice to see old faces back and present!

On your theories, I am like 50% sure that ACP Anshumaan and ACP Pradyuman are in cahoots. The whole Sunday episode scene was designed to mislead us even more or possibly to get us on the right track.

The other 50% of me is saying that ACP Anshumaan is actually in IB or RAW maybe and he's made a deep cover of pretending to be with Barbossa and, as such, is doing certain actions.

I am 100% convinced that there is no way that he is actually the mole. It's too obvious and I doubt the CVs would make it so obvious. The real mole will end up being either one of the 2 new ladies or someone from the past who we won't be too surprised about.

As some people mentioned in the Sunday EDT, this seems quite a bit like the Daksh track. They didn't know how to treat Daksh until the end and they don't know how to treat Anshumaan yet either. They are moving along and writing and shooting really quickly based on what they see in terms of reactions online and in TRP.

Yeah, even to me it seems more plausible that Pradyuman and Ayushmann are working together to bring down Barbosa gang and find traitor in CID.

I think Avni is the mole inside CID. I don't know but my main doubt went on Avni for working with Barbosa. When I saw the episodes of where ACP died. I immediately told my sister too I think it's Avni, the mole in CID. My sister also said it could be pointing out either Barbosa might be blackmailing her through her nephew or she was always with him.

Secondly whenever they should the CID team, talking about mole amongst themselves or being the main team, it's Abhijeet, Daya, Purvi, Pankaj, Dr Salunkhe and Sachin (recovering from bullet). In those times, Avni isn't shown or considered from audience POV as core team.

The new members also seem too clichéd to be working for Barbosa. I think they'll make regular if Avni is the mole.

In hospital when Sachin was awake, he told Avni, he saw something before bomb, call CID. Avni called Abhijeet and Daya but she was hesitant. Then when she eventually calls them, just before they go in to see Sachin, she starts crying and delays their meeting with Sachin. If I remember correctly, when they meet Sachin, he was about to tell something but then Avni also walks in and Sachin gets attack and he couldn't speak anymore, as he wasn't in condition.

Also when the poison was given to those criminals, Avni was one of those who were interrogating too. She also would have access to evidence room and stole the poison.

Also, CID 2 is definitely quite good and I think writer and makers know what they want and what they need to do. I think, they are keeping clear from clichés so my doubt is more on Avni.

P.S. is it me of background music and sound design for each episode is epic!!

I do agree on Avni. Even I found it quite suspicious when she didn't want to call duo and then when she suddenly burst into tears as they were going to meet Sachin. Plus they're suddenly not showing as much of her and she isn't so out in the open to be the front runner of every case, but neither is she fully hanging back. She's kind of coasting through her job as if not wanting to draw attention to herself, but also so that she isn't let go suddenly. But again I feel that will be a bit obvious. She's the newbie and her being the mole is also expected.

If the CVs really want to shock and wow us, they should have someone unexpected as the mole - like Tarika or Shonali or Sudhakar or someone else. They can show how that person moved to a different team, like Sachin did, but kept tabs on CID and maybe was regularly talking to someone from the CID team and thus had insider information that way. And then the 2 new ladies could be planted by that CID officer and they were the ones to steal and give the poison and trigger "Tony" (which I'm still convinced was an act to trap Anshumaan).

The new CVs definitely have a good grip on story writing. Aside from a few episodes in Feb and March which were all these supernatural themed stories, they are showing some realistic crimes and also harsh subjects, of course with the usual fiction flair.

Definitely agreed on that. But also I'll reiterate, I don't think they're keeping the final result under wraps as much as they are adapting and responding to what they are reading.

The whole sequence they showed in Sunday's episode with ACP Pradyuman and ACP Anshumaan meeting and the fake shot (ACP Pradyuman obviously shot something or someone over Anshumaan's shoulders) was rushed. They had to bring Satam sir back too quickly given the backlash and now are reducing the arrogance and annoying nature of Anshumaan to appease OG CID fans. I mean the guy was arrogant but not an arrogant prick in Saturday's episode...what a relief because he was actually watchable on Saturday. Not to mention that Bhoomi suddenly seemed nicer as well on Saturday.

I just want them to give this Eye Gang and the whole Anshumaan track and the mole track a proper close. They can't suddenly just decide that the mole is some uniformed police officer who was on security duty. I want a real CID officer mole but no one from the current team or, at least, no one obvious. And definitely they need to get rid of Bhoomi and whatever the other new officer's name is or make them less arrogant and asses. Bhoomi is actually smart from what I've seen so far, but I hate her nature.

Even though I didnt like Ayushman Initially but I cant ignore how good Parth is where acting is concerned. I do t want Parth to leave the show.. I want him to to continue under Pradyuman saab....
