This my opinion as most of you know that I am very disappointed with the recent changes to the show and will be quitting watching once the change is implemented.

Last night I was re-watching Haseen Dilruba part 1 and realized that Vikrant Massey's character Rishu, initially was very much like Neil - intelligent, glasses, wasnt able to speak up, he knew that Rani is high maintenance but still took the plunge and once he finds out about her fling with his co-cousin - he does flip and shows his dark side to her. Maybe not that that extent but I think the makers could have done similar with Neil's character. They could have showcased some grey side after he got to know Ruturaj and Teju's past. Instead he went into a deeper shell with no confrontation or clarification. There was a change in Rutu and Teju's character post wedding but Neil just went into a deeper shell without any potential reason.

There wasnt a need to end Teju's role instead there was a need to add a little grey shades to Neil's character in order to suppress Teju's harshness towards him, thats all. My heart goes out to Vaibhavi these days and my heart is broken as I was so happily watching a show after a long time and now will have to quit because of this unnecessary change. This change isnt gonna work and makers will realize at the end that showing anything will not retain audiences, yes it can bring some new audience but will see for how long do they stick around and watch whatever crap is displayed on their phone/TV screens.

Why can't they kick out these Pagal Pradhan's instead? Kitne boring hain woh. Could've brought back Bhosale’s and maybe Neil could be related to them since he’s adopted. Teju clashing with Bhosale’s would be a treat to watch.

they should have just changed the FL like DKP does and continued the story .. they are so set on Bhavika .. they could have made bhavika teju only
Or at best they could have made bhavika one of the Chavans. Maybe vinu’s child from his girlfriend

I can understand your pain.... actually I wasn't connected this much to the gen but I liked it, definitely Vaibhavi ke liye bura lag rha hai still there are things which are meant to happen....It was always a flop with no improvement even after marriage so this step and believe me or not Savi ke aane se fark padega rest is on how they write further....

There is big difference how a movie and show works....Haseena dilruba is bloody pathetic the way she cheats her hubby.... I don't watch such crafts especially when it's like soft p**n and ITV can't copy it in their own standards as well....Here FL runs so if such thing was shown trp 1.2 se 0.2 ho jaati....already the way Teju was characterized dumped the season...unless woh Neil ko villainise kar dete...

Yup true

People keep saying “leads don’t have enough scenes together, that’s why trp is low” — but that’s not entirely accurate. If you actually observe the structure of most shows, especially pre-wedding arcs, the focus is usually more on the Fl's nd ML’s family and setting the background dynamics. The lead scenes gradually increase post-marriage, which is when trps typically see a spike. That’s been the pattern across several shows.

This show followed the same formula — dragging the pre-wedding track, giving family-centric content, expecting the trp to rise after the leads got married. But this time? Even the leads’ wedding couldn’t boost the numbers. So clearly, the issue isn’t the lack of lead scenes — it’s something deeper.

Honestly, bringing back the Bhosales along with the surviving OG Chavans like Omkar and his fam would’ve been good. Peak drama potential. Pradhan's fam lacks that spark, which is why even the conflicts fall flat and don’t hit the same. All characters are bland nd boring compare to what ganja audience used to.

Pata chale kal heaven se Ishaan and Rajat ka connection la kar extra terrestrial cheezon ko anjaam de dein. And then they'll leave Spielberg behind too. Absolute smoking cinema indeed.

There was a show on Sitara Kulfii Kumar Bajewala centred on 9 or 10 year old Kulfi who lost her mother in an accident. So when Kulfi dies, her mother at heaven tells her in afterlife, she shouldn't die and pushes her back to earth to live her life and Kulfi comes back from dead. So what you're saying has actually already happened in Sitaraverse.

I feel multiple factors have played a role this time.

There's only a certain amount of time when something can be repeated. If we look at the Bhagya shows also, with each generation leap there has been some dip in the TRP but it has hit its lowest of low with the current season.

No matter what the reason is, Rishta's last two seasons are nowhere near to in terms of popularity when it comes to the first two seasons.

The same is happening here.

They got lucky the first time because audience loved Choti Savi and eventually accepted Badi Savi. Then with another leap, there was a dip in TRP but they also kind of became stabilized.

But the newest season had nothing going on for them.

Neither there is legacy factor, nor any strong character.

People may laugh as much as they want to but both Sai and Savi were extremely driven. Their parents' death actually directed the show forward. Whether it was Virat or Ishan, they had somewhat justified reason to get into a marriage of convenience.

SaRaj era even though a blatant copy-paste product of YHM, Rajat had strong enough personality.

None of these things were present this time.

There's a difference between a polite, shy character and being spineless. Neel's character had potential but they turned him into a creep in no time. If it weren't for Param, half the people wouldn't show this character so much of sympathy.

Same goes for Rituraj. Neither he has any solid reason to become Patralekha, nor is he a good person like Reeva. And Tejaswini isn't rejected because she's not strong. By that logic, audience would have never accepted Sai or Savi. Tejaswi's delusion about Rituraj was a huge turn off for a lot of people.

I have nothing but sympathy and good wishes for the new cast, specially Vaibhabhi.

But that doesn't take away the truth that this season was bound to be doomed for all sort of reasons.

It's hilarious how they keep crying and coping daily, calling Harshad and Shakti "overrated." I even saw some wild takes where they said Jennifer from Bepannaah was overrated too — like, be serious for once.

They keep yelling “give new faces a chance” as if the industry isn’t already trying. The truth is, it's not about getting a chance anymore — it’s about retaining success, which is way harder. Look at Sumbul: after Imlie was a hit, Kavya flopped badly in trp despite being popular online. Reddit folks saying they didn’t vibe with her acting in Kavya. Same for Fahmaan — after Imlie, he delivered three back-to-back flop shows.

So when they call Harshad and Shakti "oldies," it’s actually insane. These two are literally carrying their shows on their backs even now, unlike most of their generation who vanished after one success, or today's "new" actors who can't even pull consistent numbers after one breakout hit.

Like this dude like he getting chance after chance after chance, iska toh bhai har dusra show kholo to ye dikh jata hai 😦😦

Reddit's holier than thou attitude is weird. Age shaming actors. I even find the term 'TRP aunties' weird. It's not as if millennials and GenZ are only watching super pathbreaking content like Dark and all that. Everyone is watching the same brainrot shows as those 'aunties'. In fact, the shows in 90s were much more progressive as we had Just Mohabbat, Chekhov ki Duniya, Pachpan Khambe Chaar Deewarein in 90s only. The millennial and GenZ audience has only led to nibbafication of lead characters due to their shipping demands.
