I have two questions.

1) You told me to write the names of the translators for translated books. Is it okay if I write their names in the threads of my team only? I guess you'll create threads for three teams like you did for April. Or do I need to write their names in the Google sheet as well? But there's no section for writing the names of translators in the Google sheet.

2) Which additional information do I need to write if I read Bengali book/books? And how will I write that information? I mean, there are no sections for genre and language in the Google sheet.

See the excel sheet is simply for ease of tallying/ tracking number of pages, instead of having to do it manually from the IF post - this automatically totals pages as soon as people add numbers to the page column. Saves time and energy for the team captains. So I literally don’t care if you don’t add anything in the excel sheet other than the book title and the number of pages read.

No, no, I didn't mean it in that way. I didn't say anything against the Google sheet. In fact, it's a good idea to use Google sheet. I didn't want to say that I was unwilling to add translator's name there. It's just that there is no section for writing that there. Also, once you mentioned that I should write some additional details if I read Bengali books. That's why I asked about additional details which I needed to write.

Yeah i got what you're asking. I was merely explaining the purpose of having two logs - one in excel sheet and the other here. The Excel sheet was just for calculating totals so it's fine if you wrote the book details just once here in your Team's thread.

Okay, thank you. Do I need to write additional information/details for Bengali books? Or is writing the name of the author, the name of the book and the page count enough?

It’s good enough. Perhaps you can mention it’s in Bengali

Please choose your captain and let me know!

I will also make an excel sheet with diff tabs for all 3 teams, so its easy for all captains (&teammates) to keep track of their reading and tallies.

I vote Miss 69 to be the captain smiley40
