You're right. I've seen that interview. But as of now Vikrant doesn't have any baggage. He was raised by loving parents in a rich household. He grew up with every luxury. He is kind and generous. He has successful career. As for the flashes of Aman, he doesn't even realise what they mean yet. Vikrant is often shown smiling and with clear head. He doesn't have any prejudices against anyone.

Often the ITV MLs are shown arrogant, burdened with some sort of trauma (daddy issues, mommy issues, unfaithful first love etc..). And usually it's the innocent FL at the receiving end of all of those frustrations. After series of misunderstandings and manhandling sprouts love between the leads.

But here, Mannat and Vikrant have been on the sane zone.

As you said, it's going to be a shipwreck for Vikrant once Aman's truth comes out.
