Ruhi eagerly sat with Vidya in front row at Daksh's PTM.When Abhira was around Armaan used to care for everyone and loved Daksh very much however after Abhira left Armaan had dragged himself in a shell.He had become a workaholic.He started his own firm and that had unleashed a chaos at Poddar Firms since all of Armaan's clients went with him.But Armaan didnt stop at that and neither did he mind his clients following him.He was punishing the Poddar family,unleashing his fury for taking his Abhira away and nobody had a way to make it stop except Abhira...
Ruhi came to talk to the teacher along with Vidya while Daksh was playing down stairs...Ruhi's smile faltered when she saw teacher's face.Something was wrong,she could feel it in her bones...Vidya clutched her hand tightly assuring her.The entire family apart from Armaan pitched in for Daksh.He was a overly pampered child who was given everything before he asked for anything.What he didnt have was basic discipline,manners and value for things...he got everything that was best,the entire family tried to compensate for Rohit's absence by pampering things...
Teacher (angrily)-Mrs Poddar I think aapko Daksh ko manners aur discipline sikhane ki zaroorat hai....He is overly pampered,bully's children,beats them...And his marks ? Below average.He is failing the class...
Vidya (explaining)-Mam aap jaanti hai Daksh ke papa.....
Teacher (angrily)-Isiliye hamne bahut samai tak patience rakhi Vidyaji par there are many more children who dont have their parents or their parents are divorced....Daksh is not the only one.....Aap log over pamper karke school bhej dete hai and than you expect from us to handle those kids....Daksh has been suspended for a week...He beat a boy and bullied him...And the school has decided that he is not going to be part of football team anymore.....(Looking at Ruhi)-Aap ghar par hi hoti hai na ?
Ruhi (tearfully)-Yes
Teacher (angrily)-Please teach your son some manners Mrs Poddar.Yaha par single mothers ke bacche Daksh se zyada well mannered and well behaved hote hai...
Ruhi angrily took Daksh away home.Nobody had ever raised a finger at Daksh's parentage and she never knew that her son can beat somebody or bully somebody.Rohit was never like that.Rohit was soft spoken,polite and everybody's favorite.Neither was Armaan like this nor Chorus Gang....Why was her son acting out like this...She knew he could never crave for anybody's attention after all everybody loved him beyond limits...Was this her Karma ?....Thats it everything stopped at that very moment....Ruhi threw out all the gifts from Daksh's room,all toys..Kaveri stopped her in that moment..
Kaveri (explaining)-Getting angry like this will not help him Ruhi.He needs proper attention.
Ruhi (scoffing)-He has all the attention in the world Dadisa.Sab pyaar karte hai usse.
Kaveri (explaining)-He needs a father's influence Ruhi.Maine pehle bhi kaha tha.Consider getting remarried..He needs a father.
Vidya agreed with Kaveri.However in order to not lose Daksh,Vidya thought about Armaan.She saw Armaan standing on call with somebody else in living room.Vidya stopped right infront of him.Armaan knew what this was about but today he had decided to unleash everything that was in him.As soon as family saw Vidya infront of Armaan the entire family knew what was about to happen.Kaveri tried to stop Vidya however she never listened to anybody....Charu who had been visiting her mother decided to stay and watch a bit of tamasha at Poddar Mansion....Her husband Abhir had rubbed of on her somewhere...
Vidya (requesting)-Armaan please considering marrying Ruhi beta.Daksh needs a father figure.Iss tarah Daksh family me hi rahega.Abhira is gone and so is your son.....
Armaan (yelling)-THAT IS MORE THAN ENOUGH !! Bas ho chuka hai aapka....I will not marry Ruhi in 7 lifetimes.....She is a characterless woman....Aaj iski wajah se I dont have my Abhira,my son.....Aapko aapne alava kisi aur ka dikhta hai...Sab kuch aapke baare mai hota hai..You are such a selfish person....Agar maine Rohit se wada nahi kiya hota na toh I would left long time back...(looking at Kaveri)-Ho sake toh keep Ruhi away from Daksh....She is a terrible mother....
Ruhi (angrily)-How dare you ?
Armaan (asking)-Did you administer steroids to Daksh ?
Ruhi's face lost colour.Armaan who was hardly present knew about the dose timings but Ruhi didnt remember ever.It was Vidya and even Kiara who gave the steroids.Daksh like her maasi had inherited the low platelet condition.Daksh could not play sports that much,he so much could not bleed in any sense...Kaveri sometimes felt this as her Karma...The doctor had administered steroids to control the platelet level but Ruhi always forgot.So Kiara who was now MBBS took charge of Daksh's medication...
Armaan (proudly)-My Abhira will be best mother.
Charu (scoffing)-Your Abhira ? Bhai she is not your Abhira.Not anymore.You drove her away...(Looking angrily at Ruhi)-To appease this woman,aapne Abhira ko jaane diya with your son.Ruhi ko blame karte hai aap but aap bhi itne he responsible hai.
Vidya (correcting)-Ruhi bhabhi hai tumhari..
Charu (laughing)-Ruhi is Rohit bhai's widow.She stays here as Daksh's mother and since she has nowhere to go now that Par Nanu & Nani have no contact with her...Aur waise bhi even if Rohit bhai was alive,Ruhi ki nazar toh hamesha Armaan bhai par thi.....
Ruhi (muttering)-Abhira is not your bhabhi anymore...
Charu (scoffing)-But she is my nanad.She is Abhir's sister.Aapka kuch keh nahi sakte.Abhir hates you so you know....
Armaan (asking)-Tumhe pata hai woh kaha hai.Batao please...
Charu (telling)-Sorry bhai par mei kuch bhi nahi keh sakti....Mera unke saath ka rishta bada hai.Par you know sab ko sab kuch bahut jald pata chal jayega....(Looking at Armaan)-You know bhai,Abhir is right.....Aap bahut weak hai....Weak to get manipulated by anyone.Weak that you could hand over your child to a woman like Ruhi despite knowing how much your wife craved for that child....
Krish (smiling)-Charu di,I love how Abhir jiju has affected you.....Aap na unke jaise hote ja rahe ho....
Armaan (asking)-She is going to come here with....
Charu (smiling)-Kartik yes she is coming with him.......Unke bhai ke beti ka naamkaran hai,kyu nahi aayegi......(telling)-BTW sab invited hai except Ruhi...
Ruhi sat in her room remembering Charu's words.She had ruined everything.Her relations.Armaan -Abhira's relation....It was because of her that Armaan craved for his son....Kartik.....Abhira had named him after their nanu Kartik Goenka....She knew Abhira hated her.Ruhi took out a picture from the drawer.It was of Kartik when he was born.She had immediately fallen for that baby.She had refused to give that baby to Abhira.Abhira had dragged her to court and took away Kartik along with divorcing Armaan.Suddenly she felt the photo taken away from her....She looked up to see Armaan standing there angrily.
Armaan (angrily)-How dare you keep this photo Ruhi ? Yeh sab tumhari wajah se huya tha.Charu is right.I am a weak man.
Ruhi (explaining nervously)-I gave birth to him.
Armaan (scoffing)-That was the only relation you had with my and Abhira's son.He is ours.Mine and Abhira's DNA.Agar doobara uske paas jaane ki ya uski photo dekhne ki kosish bhi ki na than you will have to face dire consequences..Samajhlo Daksh ko bhi kho doogi tum...
Ruhi shivered with Armaan threat.She tightly clutched Daksh's toys.He was the last reminder of Rohit in her life.She tearfully looked at Rohit's photo.Rohit had been her moral compass but since he had been passed Ruhi had been wayward.Daksh no she cannot lose Daksh....Armaan was right if Abhira would have been around,not only she would have parented Kartik but also helped her in raising Daksh.
