How I don't know

The average score is based just on the questions for the round. Like if you scored 120 points and submitted early and got 40 bonus points, I only take the 120 points. Then I take the other 7 people's 120 type score only (not the bonus). Add them up, divide by 8 and I have an average. The assumption is that if that house had 2 more people then they would have scored around that average mark. The 40 bonus points are yours only. They aren't being added to the House score.

Yep basic and simple calculation. I didn't make it too hard or confusing. Khud ko naa samjh aaye toh doosre ko kya samjhaongi?
