How and why do you trust makers/writers specifically regarding Abhira? Yes, Abhira is quite resilient rather say bezati proof but she can follow footsteps of her nani and mama specifically if makers have planned a leap.

The only one who had a habit of running away is Naira. Abhira's mom did not run away. In the Kasauli leap, she had informed her family about her second marriage and they were in touch. Manish even used to send gifts for Abhir. She just stayed away from a place that gave her too much pain, like any other human being. In the second leap, she was asked to leave by her family and they did not want to keep any relationship with her. Hence, they did not know about her whereabouts. Similarly, Abhira was never shown to be someone who runs away from her problems. She has always faced them head on, and stood by her family, even when they did not deserve her. So makers don't have to show her follow anyone's footsteps to set up a leap or separation.
