I never liked Ahad in the start, but his acting has been improving with each drama.

Ahad’s first show was meh. He is okay in Sammi but YKS he showed his true potential as an actor and he’s continued to get better with time.

He just needs a good script.

And I wanted a scene of Roshi’s family visiting the Ahmeds for dinner ..and watching their pagli play the lady of the house as she orders her husband to help her with setting the table etc ..and a smitten Talha follows her orders without a care as to what the world would think

I recently watched Hum Tum but it was one of his worst shows IMO plot wise. His acting and expressions were good though.

His outstanding performance was in YDM. An author backed role which was literally designed to showcase his talent, and he used it to the maximum and delivered 200%. His strength is his ability to communicate with his eyes. May be the best I ever saw. I just get lost in his eyes when he is trying to tell stories with it and I am not exaggerating. Plus he has one of the best screen presence amongst all the actors I have seen across the board from all the mediums and languages. He gets best of the scripts making his dramas already a hit and attractive even before they go live.

Coming to his weaknesses - he was unbearable in the beginning of Hum Tum but as his character started calming down and becoming more introspective, he started acting better. Clearly comedy is not his genre. Plus his Urdu diction is another thing which makes his dialogue delivery pretty unclear, most of the times I have to rewind several times and still end up second guessing what he was trying to say.
