I would agree to it if I didn't see everyone participating in the same. For example - there is a lot of negativity against Vidya, Kaveri, Ruhi from one group
I don't care for negativity against them so I don't mind when people troll them, my reaction is same for people trolling Abhira, Armaan and other characters
Can you tell me who actually is enjoying the current show? None is, everyone is hating on it and they are hate-watching it
Show gives them reprieve from time to time, for Abhimaan fans - it is Abhimaan scenes
For me it is Abhira's beizzati
For Ruhi fans it is something else
Abhir - Charu fans are finding solace in EMA
What to do?
People enjoy different things, at largely everyone is hate - watching the show, it is not masterpiece of fine writing and acting
I get where you're coming from, but there’s a big difference between occasional criticism or trolling of fictional characters within appreciation threads and people deliberately hate-watching a show, then hijacking every thread just to bash others’ favs or mock certain ships. The intent matters.
And let’s not pretend it’s equal on both sides. Haters calling Abhira names constantly, reducing them to jokes, and mocking every emotional or serious moment they get — that’s not casual trolling, that’s targeted harassment disguised as “opinion.” There’s a difference between not liking a character and actively making it your full-time hobby to drag them.
If someone finds "Abhira's beizzati" entertaining, that’s honestly telling. There's a difference between finding scenes frustrating and actually enjoying the humiliation of characters others root for. That goes beyond casual dislike — that’s targeted negativity.
Also, just because many people are disappointed with the show doesn’t mean everyone is hate-watching. Some are still here hoping it improves, enjoying the moments they like, and engaging respectfully. Reducing all viewers to hate-watchers just to justify toxic behavior isn’t it.
At the end of the day, people are free to like or dislike what they want — but when that crosses into obsessive trolling, thread invasion, and mockery, it stops being “just another opinion.” Freedom doesn’t mean lack of boundaries.
