I agree... It is indeed a bad decision.

Parth as an actor is suitable for the role of a junior cop like Kavin and others... But there is no way he is suitable for being the leader when there are two senior officers like Abhijeet and Daya who haven't received a single bloody promotion for 20+ years.

Recreating CID pe grahan would have been a good idea if and only if they had brought in a powerful senior actor.

Lol I didn't want to say it. But also Rajeev Khandelwal looked like he could be ACP and boss Abhijeet and Daya around. Eijaz as well. And there are many younger actors who could look like ACP and pull it off, but Parth? Yeh kahan se ACP lagega bey!

Exactly rajeev has that aura of a leader and was very convincing in the role of ACP Prithviraj! Actors like him, sharad kelkar, eijaz khan, iqbal khan and even for that matter KSG would have looked great in the shoes of ACP. Have no idea about the younger lot

100% agreed there. While I wouldn't have liked it that someone other than Daya or Abhijeet were ACP, if they brought in someone like Sharad Kelkar or Rajeev Khandelwal or Eijaz Khan then that would have been acceptable. KSG agreed as well. Not the best choice but yeah he could pull it off. Heck even Barun Sobti could pull it off. He did a great job in Asur with Arshad Warsi and I could see him being ACP here as well.

I don't know enough about younger lot, but there are some actors I've seen in FB videos or stuff that could play this role well. And I used to watch that Apni Khaki spin-off of Savdhaan India. Even that had some younger actors in the main lead role who could do a great job as ACP.

I have 2 main issues - (1) What type of an ending is this for ACP Pradyuman? I understand that officers die. That's real. But that is not an acceptable ending after all these years and after all these times of showing him to be some type of superhero. It's just not acceptable. Have him retire for god's sake! (2) If you don't want to promote Abhijeet or Daya to ACP then fine, but at least have an actor who can pull off the role of an ACP with conviction and won't look like some kid playing dress-up.
