In all honesty, according to me Abhira is the worst written Rishta FL. She has been reduced to just delivering caricature-ish one liners or simply crying! Her actions and dialogues don’t have head or tail 75% of the times. There is no arc to her character and all and absolutely no track revolves around her. It’s always about Armaan, Ruhi, Vidya and Kaveri (not that they are written better but the plot revolves around them & their feelings). I have always felt this , abhira hasn't got the importance of a FL like previous rishta FLs

Her pain & grief is always brushed off while others are way more highlighted

Be it outfits or her char everything is compromised... Gen4 is really different in all aspects

It's all about ruhi, Vidya, Arman & kaveri mostly where abhira is in background being a support system or either she is given heavy dialogues which are either comical or problematic

Gen4 is really different in everything compared to previous gens , abhira has not got the importance as the previous FLs be it on her wardrobe or the importance which a FL should get

It was always like this , it's just now many point it out as it's too obvious

Honestly I feel most FL's have that issue. They need to be completely positive and also all thanks to Anumata, they need to give bhashans at the drop of a hat. Also ever since the infertility track, they seem to have made Abhira completely lose her self worth to the extent that it somehow has been tied to her giving birth to a child more than anything. So yes, the writing for a Rishta FL as been consistently downgrading, honestly from the end of Gen2 onwards itself

Armaan Rohit ka scene ho yah ruhi-Rohit ka scene ho , sabke scene mai abhira ko latka dete hai like in ek ek frame ki jab ruhi akhiri bar rohit se milne gayi toh bhi abhira ko husband-wife ke last moment scene mai bhi tang diya !

Kisi ka beta kisi ka bhai kisi ka pati ki death ke har ek frame mai abhira ko add diya ! Isn’t it enough !!

Her pain her grief for devar ka loss is not uper than rohit ka biwi bhai maa baap etc ka pain in this track lekin fir bhi usko rohit ke bhai-behen-biwi -maa baap scene chahe kisi ke bhi sath ho rone ka , sab frame mai she was very much included ! Fir bhi yeh complain!

Kal jab chorus gang ro raha tha Rohit ke liye uss time bhi usko cousins ke frame mai bhi include kiya, Jab rohit ke maa baap biwi bhai ro rahe the tab bhi usko frame mai add kiya, yaha tak ki fufa ke rone ke frame mai bhi abhira ko rote dikha diya ! Itna zyada grief and rona toh dikhaya na abhira ka ki frame chahe biwi , cousin , maa , baap , bhai kisi ka bhi ho she was there in the frame. De toh rahe hai female lead wala treatment! Rona and grief bhi har ek frame mai devar ke liye dikhaya hai.

Since we are done White Day and kids are one the way, are we moving towards the end? Like gen 3 ended within one year. I doubt this gen will go on for 6 years like gen 2. Let alone come close to Gen 1

Yeh legacy legacy sirf audience karti hai. I have said it before. I will say it now:

Monies >>>> Legacy.

They don’t even remember or care jitna audience does about legacy

Abhi toh leap aana baaki hai. And after leap the show will run atleast for 8-10 months. Also the TRP's are relatively stable and position is also always in the top 3-5. So ek aur saal minimum, if not more, toh most likely show chalega before they call it quits
