I asked everyone to write Amazon print length only so that we all have a standardized page count. And page numbers vary according to a number of factors depending on the publisher. But sure go ahead and write whatever makes you comfortable.

I mean I'll write the actual page numbers of books only if you think and say that's okay. Today I'll complete reading The Locked Door and I'm willing to write 270 pages which is the actual page count of the physical book I read. I don't want to write 320 pages which is Amazon's print length of this book. But If you think writing actual page numbers may create any kind of problem or disparity you can definitely tell me. And then I'll do whatever you say. Today I'll have to write the page numbers of The Locked Door. So, I thought about discussing the matter with you before writing the page count.
I honestly don’t know what to say. I’ve done another similar reading challenge on FB and with a much larger group than this, and we all wrote Amazon page counts. But you’re bringing up the disparity in the copy you hold, so I will say, do whatever you feel comfortable with.

I will say this though - whether a book is 350 pages or 270, the content is the same. It’s just that the 350 page edition probably has a different type set, bigger fonts or the book itself is smaller in size like a mass market copy and that’s why number of pages are more. Hence why using page counts from one standard website makes sense because book sizes and page numbers vary all the time depending on publisher, edition and book type.

Oh okay
Then I'll write Amazon's page numbers because that's what you prefer for this reading challenge. Otherwise, it may create a disparity because other participants will follow Amazon's page counts. Thanks for the answer!
I completed reading The Locked Door today! I can't believe I finished reading the book within 5 days because I'm a very slow reader. So, it's a big achievement for me! When I signed up for this reading challenge I never thought I would be able to complete reading a book in a few days. After finishing the book, I started reading another thriller and that's written by Sidney Sheldon. And a horror novel will be delivered to my house from Amazon tomorrow. I intend to read the thriller novel and the horror novel simultaneously.
Yay, small steps but solid results. Kudos to you!

I am reading a Chinese translated novel. It has 200+ chapters and no word count for pages and the translator does not allow for the reader to copy the words to figure out the word count. How to log that or should I skip it?
P.S. The book is not available on the Goodreads. I came across the book on novel updates [don't judge me, I am craving rebirth novels
], which redirected me to the translator's site.
One suggestion was to print preview and count the page numbers. Other team members, what's your take on this?

The book is available on GR but page number is not mentioned!
Okay. I did a print preview thingy. Will it be considered for the count?

I did some devil's job to copy paste the contents of chap 1
2636/300 = 8.78

Chapter ends at 8th page of print preview!
