That monologue was to extend the episode and show the death tomorrow. They'll be dragging the scenes now that IPL is here. More kalesh, more drama, more TRPs.

They could have simply let the sad rishta bgm play with everyone having flashbacks of Rohit and Armaan for like 8 minutes and it would have made a solid impact. This clownery is only taking away from the sequence big time!

You can just watch the Abhira-Shivani scene and Abhira-Ruhi scene until Kaveri starts talking. Rest is all rubbish.

The makers are absolute workaholics. They aren't the lazy kinds. They’d never take the easy route of just playing some BGM and letting the actors emote. They’re all about the real craft—like serving us 20-minute-long monologues so we can truly, deeply, spiritually connect with the characters.

Sam was so good in that scene. She made me cry too.

Gayatri’s death and the scenes that followed had to be some of the most heartbreaking of Rishta …going by what I am reading here, is this even the same show ?
