Katrina offends Shahid with her rude and condescending remarks!

Damn looks like Katrina really pissed Shahid off with her patronizing comment against him but still Shahid being Shahid didn’t take it lying down and he returned the favor by giving it back to her as good as it gets…and that too right in front of Katrina’s Godfather…OUCH!

Around the time Alia (her workout buddy) had secretly nabbed RK and she didn't know.

It was just a joke. Shahid took it too seriously, and then added more to it by telling her to be mean to Sushant too.

Humor is cultural though so maybe that’s what went wrong here. I know that my friends and coworkers have joked like that, exactly like that, and everyone takes it as a joke.

Sorry but I beg to differ…Katrina’s tone was extremely unpleasant, obnoxious and off-putting. So anyone in Shahid’s place would’ve gotten angry and reacted the same way. Also it’s not like Shahid and Katrina are like two best friends with a great level of understanding between them.

So I am glad Shahid gave it back to her. And Katrina has a huge history of being condescending and snooty towards people she considers beneath her which is extremely well-documented and all those horror stories are still very much in the public domain.

So Shahid did the right thing by showing her the mirror which made her visibly uncomfortable but she totally deserved that treatment, so hats off to Shahid for doing the needful!

I do agree that if Katrina and Shahid don’t have a friendship or are not that familiar with each other then she shouldn’t have joked with him. But I disagree about her tone. That’s how some jokes are. You need a deadpan tone or a sarcastic tone.

Shahid didn’t like the joke, responded to her. Fine, his prerogative. She didn’t argue back and just took it. But then he was just being petty and stoking drama by asking her to be mean to Sushant too. So in that regard if she was being condescending he was being antagonistic.

oh that was very awkward, and from everyones faces they found it awkward, nobody even smiled or tried to laugh, they could sense the tension

I do think katrina was just joking, she can be quite sarcastic, and shahid took it seriously. Salman seemed to try and lighten up the mood by making a joke and getting everyone to laugh, but looking at salmans face when shahid was talking to katrina, salman was not liking what shahid was saying to her

Shahid takes himself too seriously.

I attended this award show as it was in New York in 2017 as iffa was hosted there at MetLife stadium. I posted on things and have a video on a salman leaving the venue and where some like his bodyguard sherya were staying at the Sheraton in Mahattan . On topic: this is one those press meets.
