Filmmaker Karan Johar, actor Alia Bhatt, and director Anurag Kashyap have all praised Netflix’s British crime drama Adolescence for its bold storytelling and unique cinematography. Johar, deeply moved by the show, called it a "masterclass for parents," saying, "The technical marvel moved me as a filmmaker but broke me as a parent." Alia Bhatt also expressed admiration, calling the show "truly perfection" and wondering how the cast and crew felt after filming each one-hour-long continuous take. Meanwhile, Anurag Kashyap lauded the series but criticized Netflix India, calling its leadership "morally corrupt" and claiming such a show would never be approved in India. Its an eye opening show I couldn’t sleep last night just thinking about everything happening around us and being so oblivious- as a parent its a scary watch! Makes u realize u have no idea what’s happening in your childs life.
